For anyone whos interested there is a family room available at London Southwark 26th July for 1 night at £9, I can vouch for this travel lodge and the tube is less than 2 minutes walk, very central and new hotel0

i live in the northwest and fancy a night away with hubby
anyone suggest a nice travelodge near by, one that we don't have to pay for parking at
thanks
i've already booked a night in manchester0 -
just had a look and mostly Sunday £9 rooms left for London Travelodges. There are £9 rooms at the London Park Royal Travelodge for Sat 8,15, 22 (Fri 21st also £9) Aug and the next day. It is a 5 min walk to the piccaddilly line tube station opposite. 20 mins to South Kensington where museums are on tube. Also footy fans may be interested in the Wembley Travelodge, as the FA charity shield at the Stadium is usually on about the second Sunday in August there are £9 rooms for 8th and Sun 9th Aug.0

right after spending the past hour looking for somewhere for hubby and i to go cheap on a sunday night.
I've given up
It's not that i can't get on the site, or i can't find any hotels as i can.
But i can't decide on any i've found
caernarfon and oxford
but both don't have on site parking so that takes the price up.
I've decided to save my cash and nearer to the time book a nice small b&b,some where a bit more comfy and homely than a travelodge.
But i did manage to get a night in manchester for after my girls aloud concert,
good luck to all.0 -

yes, i can understand using a B&B because its more homely, but turning down a £9 travelodge room for the sake of a few pounds carparking! £44 a night for a B&B or £9 for a travelodge, with £10 max parking, i know which is more moneysaving, if not luxurious

Can anyone recommend a hotel in London? I will hopefully be booking one for my sister and her OH. As they will be travelling from N Ireland I would like one in the city centre close to shops.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I've used the travel lodge just next to Liverpool St Stn.. room that slept 3 of us for £20! Clean, tidy and great for getting the tube :T0 -
Trying to decide over Brighton seafront in August 3 nights I want, are 2 at £19 and 1 at £32 so not bad.
Would of liked 3 at £9 or £19 but Ive had my share of £9 sale rooms!
I cant see the prices changing now as be miffed if they did but £70 for 3 nights is good value.
Im flexi with time off in August and end July but cant see any cheaper sets of 3 nights?
Will go ahead and book and then its sorted (but know Il keep checking prices:o )Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
Sealed pot challenge number 9 number 4820
