Little bear is on turbo. He is so tired, and so full of grumpy pre-cold that there is no doing. I have the most enormous headache, currently thudding away after a large amount of ibuprofen. Little bear is emptying the bookcase behind me and I am letting him.
No OS done today as little bear on turbo, full of pre-cold, now able to climb out of previous safe places, also feeling very bad headache. Tried to nap in little bear's room while he had a cheerful wander. I kept wistfully hoping he would GO TO SLEEP but he didn't.
Candygirl, with one thing and another (38JJ) quite a few people didn't realise I was pregnant until I started taking little bear out in a pushchair. My shelf hid a lot of the evidence. He was a normal size, 7lb 11oz and healthy.
Have to go and do battle with little bear's nappy btw he has only one grandparent, my darling father who is on a cruise.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Candygirl - the aforementioned measurement was before I was pregnant and current size. All I can say is thank goodness for nursing bras.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0

You know I was amazed today, I was in M&S using my £5 voucher that I got free with that car insurance quote! The lady in front of me bought about £10 worth of market and Mr T shopping- it cost nearly £30!! I was amazed-she bought gravy and pre chopped carrots etc etc! I was so shocked.
And I thought there was a credit crunch on!
Anyway, this is my first OS post but I had to share my little story with someone, hope you're all warm enough and ready for the weekend!0 -
Welcome, Coldstreamalways - there will always be shoppers like that, in every supermarket! I'm surprised by how many people still buy things like ready-made mash or bagged salad; it's so much more expensive.
(((Hugs))) to everyone today and especially Taplady - hope today went as well as could be expected.
I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up with the thread today. I'll try and have a read later.
Hope all the poorlies are feeling a bit better.

evening everyone.
Today went as well as it could. The church was packed with lots standing. There was a wonderful piece written by a chap at work that summed her up beautifully. She was buried in the same grave as her son which is just what she wanted. I think that now it might really start to hit me as its been a strange unreal week since she died.
I've now got 3 days off for a much needed break.
Take care all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hugs Taplady. I've been thinking of you today as it was also my work colleague's funeral. I couldn't go as I had nobody to look after ds, but my thoughts were with Lesley's family, and also Sheila's family (my colleague).
VickyA I hope your mum is OK.
Halight sorry to hear about your job, and good luck finding something else
WSybil the climbing phase is just the beginning. Wait for the running away and the talking and then the questions....
I've had a migraine today just to finish off my cold. DS is better from his cold, but is still sleeping more than usual. Luckily most of my Christmas stuff was done early while dh was still home to mind ds, so I won't have a last minute rush. I also had to send dh's presents with him in October as there won't be any post reaching him where he is, and I didn't want to rely on BFPO getting a parcel to him anyway.
I'm not sure what I thought I had to wrap last Christmas, but I wrapped last years presents and this years presents with the paper that I bought last year, and theres still a bit left!
Take care all of you0
