Windy and cold here and we are off to a wedding at 2...think that bride is wearing strapless, the looney!

Hugs to all, nothing OS going on here to-day, have still to dress, makeup and have something to eat, meal at reception will be around 6!

Well the postie just came, went to see and it was a letter for my house no. but a different street! Managed to catch him and give him it back and he did apologise. Still waiting for two things from Amazon, post definitely seems to be a bit all over the place lately. I was really hoping they would come today as I wanted to drop them off tomorrow. Never mind, we might not be leaving before the post tomorrow so there is still time.

I have to make loads of Twink's coz I've promised to take some with me tomorrow and I haven't even started yet! Also need to jump in the bath and leave at about five to meet my Mam to go for a meal (her treat) and then to the pictures (also her treat). New Twilight film. We've both read all of the books and are excited to go and see them mess it up in film form, lol. Well, films are never as good as the books imho.

Right, must move off the sofa, I was kidding myself that I was waiting to hear the post arrive in case I had to unlock the door to get my parcels. Still sitting here though, lol. Think I should manage to make enough, just. Not sure about the time to dip them all in choclate. Especially as my kitchen is TINY (although I have had slightly smaller ones, I think they had more bench space). One little bench which contains the microwave and the kettle and the toaster so not a lot of room for anything. Might have to get my coffee table cleared to use that too, although it's going to be a pain keeping an eye on the cat.

Thinking of you Taplady today and also Vicky and your DM and also sending positive thoughts out to everyone who needs them.

Pretty much done on pressies, apart from the ones I'm waiting for...just got to wrap them all now! I'm not sure how mad my Mam has gone at Christmas, she said she'd been wrapping pressies for two evenings in a row and still had more to do. My lovely parents bought us a new freezer as our main christmas pressie a month or so ago so we're not expecting much else (but are very, very grateful!). Going to get a new tree tomorrow and my little sis is going to help me put it up and decorate it on Sun as she really enjoys that. Maybe then I'll feel Christmassy at last, lol.

Really should go now, just waffling anyways. OS wise OH is having leftovers from last nights chilli for dinner whilst I'm out. Got a whilrwind few days now so not sure how much time I'll get to post.

Afternoon all.

Got MR LW w*rking from home today, on Early shift, so we're having main meal lunchtime (in about 10 mins to be exact). Shepherd Spy...... again.:D

Not looking forward to this afternoon though; I have a massive list of stuff to get in Mr M's. Just ordinary groceries, - we seem to have used up lots of things all at the same time this week.

Mr LW has been making noises about going for a drink this evening. Don't really fancy it, as my lupus is flaring somewhat, but he'll be disappointed if I say no.

After 2 days of no post, got a whole heap this morning - are the posties saving it up, d'ya reckon?

Oh well, that's today's random thoughts.

well I went and saw the nasty vampire lady she took 4 big things of blood and made me bleed and bruise so I'm glad thats over ds1 and I then went to the pet wharehouse and then the cash and carry so apart from bread, milk,veg and salad( which I wil send ds1&2 for in the week) I'm done just got to finish stashing it all away now,we are out tonight to see friends but it won't be for long ,just going to get some lunch and then get on with jobs

Its all grey,grim and wet here so not too fussed about going out

Took yd for her last speech therapy class this morning.They've decided to reassess her for individual tuition

I was going to nip to Blackburn this afternoon but the kids were mutinous so might go tomorrow if I feel like it

I've got a whole pile of Christmassy crafts to get through for the relatives hampers but not quite in the mood yet.Maybe another brew and a little more pc might do it:rotfl:

Wannabesybil I agree with DD leave the cotside down and let little bear climb in and out as he sees fit.It will get him ready for a big boy bed.I did this with all mine and it worked

Done one client, entertained a colleague for cuppa and biccies. One parcel has arrived...ds come to the door too...it was his pressie and not subtly labelled GIG bag Tenor Trombone all over the outside. Shoo-ed him away and got it into my treatment room, so will have to sneak it upstairs somehow later on.

Still expecting my approved foods order today, got to Manchester at 01.53 this morning apparently and is in transit.

Am having a slow start today as feeling very sluggish and starting with a cold:o
Am staying put, and wrapping pressies today, dying ,my hair and doing a chick pea curry and some HM bread for tea:p
Went shopping with Mum yesterday and she treated herself to a gorg antique diamond and sapphire art deco type ring.She never usually treats herself so I persuaded her she deserves it;)
Am out on the girls xmas do tomoz night, not really up for it, but a few voddys will no doubt get me in the mood :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: DD's coming and has a new low cut dress that makes her look like a page 3 girl, her bump is hardly showing yet and she's nearly 6 months:eek: :eek:

Hi All.
Not been too good lately so I've just been lurking but I've been keeping an eye on everybody's doings. I feel exhausted just reading about what some of you do. I remember when I used to be rushing around getting ready for Christmas, I enjoyed it then but glad I don't have to do it now. Wish we had some grand children though, anyone want a virtual granny?
We went to Tesco early today and I got some YS stuff, so pleased with that. Not much else done, I had to see the nurse to have some stitches out so I then popped in the library and got some books for the weekend.
I've finished off the trees and other bits and bobs and we have pizza for tea, Half price at Tesco.
Love and well wishes to all who are unwell, worried or caring for someone.
Enjoy the weekend.

my kids would love a virtual granny my mum and dad have now passed away and mil hasn't seen the kid's for a year boxing day last to be precise we have tried to go and see her but it's never convinient for us to go there and despite us inviting her here she never bothers which is a shame but it's her loss

A virtual granny would be great I think and I'm 24, lol.

Managed to get all of my biscuits made and 37 dipped in chocolate to take around tomorrow. My kitchen is full of biscuits! I'm heading out soon to meet my Mam to watch Twilight, yay! Only problem is OH and his friend are going to have a few drinks tonight and they are going to be so tempted by all of the chocolate covered biscuits that are setting in the kitchen. I left them a couple and there are also quite a few undipped ones. Also they've got LO chilli from last night. I even made some baked pots in the oven whilst baking all the biscuits for tomorrow. We need to eat something in the morning before heading off to visit people. I even reserved my tree in argos for us to pick up tomorrow. So busy day. One of my packages arrived today, waaaaay over packed but at least it isn't broken.

Right off to have a quick coffee and a browse before I have to leave.
