Had my OR 1st call yesterday, came as a surprise they're luck I was snowed in and at home. SO all my prep was undone and I was 'um'ing and 'urm'ing all through. But got through it. I await my pack....but no mention of a second call what happens now??
CP
Oooh I don't know.... was it a long conversation? Did they take basic details or do the whole run through?
I would have thought that if you had a lengthy conversation and they didn't mention a 2nd call then they will probably proceed with contacting your creditors and then look at your SOA etc.
Correct me if I am wrong anyone please....
I just came home to the dreaded big envelope from the OR.
First in it was a letter with my telephone interview date...... Monday morning 9AM.....eek
It also had the usual guides, that wretched ethnic origin sheet (that was for you SA) and a few things for me to sign and a sheet telling me to send in statements, payslips and bank cards etc....
Anyone that has recently done this...
a. Do you have to send originals
b. Did you send them by recorded mail
c. Did you do it before or after your telephone interviewMoney, money, money. Must be funny, in a rich man's world. :rolleyes:0 -

a. Do you have to send originals - yes - in a very pretty folder!
b. Did you send them by recorded mail - special delivery - £8.25!
c. Did you do it before or after your telephone interview
Hi Marlowvian,
Good to hear from you. I hope you aren't snowed in where you are. There is more on the way! I have had three days off work - lovely...:T
Good luck with the OR interview - mine is another 10 days yet ... God it is dragging.
It is funny, but before when I lived my life spending money on this and that - using plastic and overdrafts, I never dreamt that one day it would be open to cross examination. How I wish I could turn the clock back and do (or not do) some stuff all over again - differently  I know what is done is done but golly, I wish I could, I really do!
Oh well, life is one long learning curve .... I just think mine is curvier than most!

Morning SA
Thanks a lot.
I just re-read the info pack and it said that the info must be received back before Monday... oops.
So I called up the OR office, lovely helpful lady answered the phone she told me copies were fine, there's no rush and most people don't bother with registered post unless there's loads of cards and unused chequebooks in there.
So panic over. Snowed in but my boss will pick me up in his 4x4 (alright for some) today as he did on Monday... so no rest for the wicked. I'm glad I don't have to try my luck walking to the post office in the snow now.
I can't believe I have my interview before yours. I wish mine wasn't so soon but it might be nice to get it out of the way and know where I stand...
Have a good day.

The only reason I sent mine SD was because dalip sent stuff and they denied ever receiving it - I didn't want anything to delay my ordeal so I paid the price!
Lucky you with the 4 x 4 - I have got to rely on my Fiat Punto snowmobile.... heehee
Have a good day.

Morning All
how far back do you need to send statments?
and what if you don't have them?0 -
12 to 24months worth usually.....dont worry if you are missing any though the receiver can easily source copiesWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I didn't have much time to send my paperwork back. Had my court date last Monday. Received my OR pack on Saturday. Had my phone interview this morning. Wasn't enough time to get all my statements together so jut completd and signed all of the OR forms and sent them back with a note to say the statements and cut up cards would follow. As it turns out, my OR interview wasn't conducted from the office so the person on the phone didn't een know if the forms had been received! I explained that I dispose of all my credit card statements and receipts after three months and, in the case of my bank, use paperless bankin and am currently frozen out of my accountm, which wasn't a problem, just asked to send what I can. My OR office is in Gloucester, I will probably get the bus over on Saturday (snow permitting) and hand deliver as it will be cheaper than sending by post (and probably a few days quicker!!!).0

Bear in mind the OR office will be closed more than likley on a Saturday....and if there's no where to post anything at the office you might be stuckWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
