    Hi Donna,

patsypat was in the same boat - she hadn't heard anything the last time she posted. I can only think that they must be snowed under - or perhaps you are just smallfry in your area.... :D

I know I am going to look completely anal when the OR person gets my stuff... It is all in a ring binder folder with subject dividers - all the statements are there :o in date order..... 4 payslips (not 3) because 2 of the 4 are significantly lower than the other 2 and a letter to them explaining how it might look like I am rich, but I am not really...... :D

    God, how sad am I?

    SA

about as sad as me, cos ive done something very similar, i started off trying to get it all into a ring binder but due to the amount of statements i gave up and filed things separately into plastic wallets, some bigger than others!:p

Good Morning everyone and Good Luck to those of you with BR or OR today.... ;)

Well, a combination of it being Market Day in my home town and my day off has ensured that it is pouring with rain and pretty nasty outside!

I had a list of Things To Do but that has gone pearshaped as well .... I was supposed to be having an eye test and the optician has wafted off somewhere... that will have to be rescheduled .... so it is an appointment with the Chiro person for my back and a bit of shopping and home! How exciting.

The OR paperwork will be landing on the OR desk this morning, I am already BR, so I am seriously running out of things to occupy me ..... perhaps Age Concern have got something on - tea dance, whist drive, bingo.... anything

Or I could just cook a meal, watch tv and chill - SOLD!! :D

Have a good day everyone - the weekend is nearly here......

  • Just to update re: landlord situation - it's all OK! Hurrah! He called round as promised and said he'd thought about it but that as long as he keeps getting his rent every week he can't see as anything has changed and thanked me for my honesty. Said his stepmum had to go br a few years ago so could understand the stress and to stop worrying and did I want a new lease when this one expires in march? Bless him.

Anyway thanks for your support again, as usual you were all right there was absolutely nothing to worry about but this br business makes you paranoid that the worst will happen.

SA :T , what a fab idea to write an honest warts and all account of br, before during and after especially the funny bits - count me in! Doesn't matter if its already been done, mse people are bound to have better/funnier/eeekier experiences.

Have a great weekend - me I'm catching up with sleep after two sleepless nights :p
Life may not be the party we hoped for
But while we're here, we should dance.....:j

    Good Lord......

You must live in an area that has really hit the skids - nos 271/272 of 2009
We are still in January!!!!

    Well done though, nonetheless.....

    SA

    I know!!!

I actually asked the Clerk if business was "picking up" but she said she had seen no noticeable increase in BR.

I, like you, was quite surprised at the 271 and 272 figures!!!

Oh that is good news. I am very pleased for you. You should be proud you were brave enough to be upfront and it really paid off.
    Well done

    Hi my January Club pals.

After lots of thought and soul searching I am declaring myself BR at 10 this morning. OH will not, as repaying his creditors is far less of a burden to our family.

Having told everyone I wasn't going to do it, then changing my mind (a woman's prerogative:rolleyes: ) I made the decision not to tell anyone other than my OH and Dalip. It has been so much less stressful without my family all being so absolutely terrified and worried for me. A worry shared in this case magnified it many fold.

I'm not up at this time because I cannot sleep, I'm up because I fell asleep in the armchair before 10pm and have only recently woken up!

In 8 hours time I will be at some stage of my BR at the court. The clerk said worse case scenario would be 1.00pm before it would all be done, but as I am the first appointment it could be sooner.

Have three copies of all the forms, checked and double checked, and the 495 spondoolies in my handbag. So there is nothing more to do apart from making myself another cup of tea and then going to bed.

I will let you all know how it went some time tomorrow.
