I remember the kick I got out of ordering fish and chips for the first time in years and the taste was amazing.... I had got used to living on jacket potatoes and tuna fish....
Yes, was a bit of a wait, the security personnel were friendly and chatty so that helped pass the time. Was actually four of us all with 9:30am appointments, two of the people were still there when I left!
Now refreshed and off with my pennies to get my mouth-watering fishcake and chips. Nabbed a couple of brown sauce sachets when I was having my lunchtime pint so I don't have to pay the chippies rip off 15p per sachet!!! Oh, and yes, jacket spuds and tuna has been my other staple the past month or so!0 -
Hope that you have a really good nights sleep and you are starting afresh tomorrow. Well done. :T
That was just a nap... I had to wake back up so I could get my chippie treat! Then it's off to beddie bye byes after the food has digested and tomorrow morning will herald a new era in the life of PockettMoney.0 -

Howdee folks. Can i join the group? Me and missus went on 6/01 the first two cases of the year in our local court. Tried to avoid it for years, but IVA failed due to having to give up work to care for disabled son who become ill after catching a hospital infection whilst in for routine op!! Dont worry bout the OR interview, found it really straight forward and have to admit, would have done this over a year ago had i known how simple the process would be. Cant remember how long its been since buying oil wasnt a real worry, even looking at a holiday this year!!
Go for it clan, im now enrolled in the open uni, nows the time to start afresh. Only 11 months to go til absolute freedom!!You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is 'never try';)

hi tmcd01 and the missus!
Welcome to the club, happy to add you on the list.
Thanks for the advice about the OR interview. I know that I wish had done the whole BR thing earlier too but it is the nature to try struggle along as much as possible before the time finally comes I guess.
Glad you are going to be able to have a holiday - I am saving up now for a couple of years to take the kids to eurodisney.

Hello clanbailey - isn't it good to be Debt Free?
Welcome to the new members - and we have still got a week to go in January..... could well be more joining us!
Good news - my wages have gone into the Co-op account .... I can't tell you how much I have been panicking over that... I've got some pennies!
I am getting my OR forms witnessed today and then I will be sending all the paperwork off to the OR ready for my interview in 3 weeks time. My plan is to post it (special delivery) and then forget about it all until much nearer the time..... see how long that plan lasts...
Dismal day here in the North East - lots of fog.... working until 5.30pm.
Have a good day everyone, best wishes to you all....
