Hi everyone, I have been at work today and got home to pile of letters!

one a "telemessage" wanting me to call christian somebody blah blah regarding an important matter.....do they think I am dumb or something! Wait! don't answer that, purely a hypothetical question.

and then I got my "we can cancel your bankruptcy letters" today - two of them from different companies - ditto the above, "dumb" plastered on my forehead!! Why on earth would I want to cancel or reverse my BR! :rotfl:

aha Donna I had a telemessage myself too - they will do anything to get hold of you!!! in the last half hour my phone has gone 5 times and i am STILL too scared to answer it - I think once I have had OR meeting will feel confident to do so - dont know feel like it isnt true yet until got that bit over with - roll on friday!!! did my OR forms and posted all bits back to him, could hardly get it all in the envelope LOL

and........... I have had loads of the br letters to saying they could get the br annuled WHAT I dont think so!!!!! LOL

Completely skint now - benefits keep paying into frozen account but apparently they cant just stop it - it has to go through the system mmmmmmmmmm funny it was about july / aug last year I requested payments being stopped into bank and manual payment instead AND have followed them up everytime they have paid into bank, just this time I cant get my hands on the money yet speaking to OR about it on friday, so had £40 left and did my weekly shop yesterday which was £32 (for a family of 4 with a big hairy dog!) so now have £8 to live on - how the hell am I meant to do that!!!!

This is dreadful - is there anyone who you can get onto the case? CAB, OR even. They can't do this - it is your money to live on..... they are just sending it into a big black pit. It is crazy!

Can you not get it changed to be paid by Giro?
I receive benefit (albeit disability living allowance rather than child ben) and they said they would pay it by Giro until I notify them of my new bank account details

that is not good cb, I think you should call your OR who has the power! he can get it released from the bank I believe if you call him. And do what marlowvian says, get it paid by giro if you can.
