Parking Ticket Appeals article discussion

Hello everone
I am new today to this forum . I've spent the last hour or so reading through various posts and i hope i'm managing to post this in the correct place.
My wife recieved a PCN in a supermarket back in June. Reading through ,i now know we should not have appealed , however we have written twice appealing on the basis we were not aware any charges were applicable due to the lack of signs and also the PCN states our car is a different colour than it actually is ! Do we still keep writing to appeal or ignor any future corespondence from them ? We are aware their threats will get worse but i must admit i do fancy the fight !
Thank you in advance for any help
For someone who has 'spent the last hour or so reading through various posts', you appear not to have garnered much info.
The post above directly above yours says...!It's just that each new query should be started under its own new thread, like all these people have done (ignore the stickies on the top of the list, every thread listed underneath them is a new thread someone has started):
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...lay.html?f=163'
Dead simple rule...
ANYTHING TO DO WITH PRIVATE PARKING - IGNORE, REPEAT IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Correspond with', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Write to council and complain', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Contact the actual landowner', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Ask the CAB', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Go to the police', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Discuss at length', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE doesn't mean 'Write back and tell them to shove their PCN', it means IGNORE.
IGNORE kinda means........... IGNORE.
Hope this helps.0 -

This is one where you need to start your own thread or any answer could get lost with all the other posts.Hi just received a ticket yesterday which said something like i was parked outside prescribed hours, so either I parked longer than I should, or parked there before a certian time

Photo's of signs, lines where you parked and a copy of both sides of the ticket would be a help. Post them as per the instructions on the stickies.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Found this in this weeks 'Esses County Standard'.

Hi. I got a parking ticket the other day and it stated on the ticket "observation time 11:48 to 11:49." So basically they only watched my car for 1 minute before giving me a ticket. Can they do this? i thought they had to observe for at least 5 minutes! Any help would be great thanks

Can anyone tell me if I can appeal a parking ticket a: parking in an area where you do not pay after 6pm at night ticket timed at 8.02pm and also the colour of car being incorrect.
Thanks0 -
1st, is it a private car park or a council one?Can anyone tell me if I can appeal a parking ticket a: parking in an area where you do not pay after 6pm at night ticket timed at 8.02pm and also the colour of car being incorrect.
Thanks
2nd, if its a council one the colour of the car is immaterial and not an appealable thing on its own.
3rd, if its not a council one then do not bother to appeal, ignore.
More details please, you may need to start your own thread for this.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
There are no statutory times for observation AFAIK. More details needed, council or private etc.Hi. I got a parking ticket the other day and it stated on the ticket "observation time 11:48 to 11:49." Notice of Discharge of Outstanding Demand and Request for Clarification.

Dear Sirs,
Please read the following notice thoroughly and carefully before responding. It is a notice. It informs you. It means what it says.
The reason why you need to read carefully is simple. I am offering conditional agreement. This removes controversy, and means that you no longer have any ultimate recourse to a court of law in this matter, because there is no controversy upon which it could adjudicate. You always have the option of dragging these conditions into a court of law only to be told that they are, indeed, perfectly lawful. That is, of course, always your prerogative should you decide to waste your time.
For this reason it is important that you consider and respond to the offer in substance. The 'nearest official form' will not suffice, and consequently is likely to be ignored by myself without any dishonour on my part.
On the other hand there is a time-limit on the agreement being offered. It is reasonable, and if it runs out then you and all associated parties are in default, removing any and all lawful excuse on your part for proceeding in this matter.
For these reasons it is recommended that you carefully consider this notice and respond in substance, which means actually addressing the points raised herein.
You have apparently made demands upon me.
I do not understand those apparent demands and therefore cannot lawfully fulfil them. I seek clarification of your document so that I may act according to the law and maintain my entire body of inalienable Natural Rights.
Failure to accept this offer to clarify and to do so completely and in good faith within 7 (seven) days will be deemed by all parties to mean you and your principal or other parties abandon all demands upon me.
I conditionally accept your offer to agree that I am legal fiction 'person' your full name here and in capitals’ and that I must furnish you with details for consideration for forfeiture rendered by your company, upon proof of claim of all of the following:
1. Upon proof of claim that I am a person, and not a human being.
2. Upon proof of claim that you know what a 'person' actually is, in legal terms.
3. Upon proof of claim that you know the difference between a 'human being' and a 'person', legally speaking.
4. Upon proof of claim that you know the difference between 'legal' and a 'lawful'.
5. Upon proof of claim that I am legal fiction 'person' full name here in capitals again, being the entity to which your paperwork was addressed, and notChristain name: of theSurname family, as commonly called.
6. Upon proof of claim that the charge was the result of a lawful investigation unmarred by prejudice.
7. Upon proof of claim that I am a member of the society whose statutes and subsisting regulations you are enforcing.
8. Upon proof of claim that I showed you some sort of identification.
9 Upon proof of claim that there is a nameable society that I belong to and that the laws covered within any alleged transgressions state that they apply to me within that named society.
Sincerely and without ill will, vexation or frivolity,
Christian name: of the Surname family
WITHOUT PREJUDICE, i.e. all Natural Inalienable Rights Reserved
Please address all future correspondence in the matter to a direct Human Self, namely Christain name of the Surname family, as commonly called
if this is right, then somebody has been getting away with murder for years...:mad:0 -
Yeah this is so, like right.
Just send this off and you get away with everything.
Even when they send the bailiffs round after you lose in court, just give them a copy of it as they take away your possessions. That'll show them.
Go for it, what have you got to lose!!!!!!!!!!!
Do let us know how you get on.0
