Hiya i work at s.fields. We've been told ours is changing to a co-op but it might take up to a year.
I would imagine they're allowed longer to re-brand than sell off where they have two stores too close together now

I know at the time of the take-over there was something said about having to 'off-load' one site where they'd ended up with two in close proximity - and must admit I'd expected it to have happened by now..

Lots of people give a general congrats or hugs when they start a post or maybe just read the last few posts to get a flavour of what's going on.
The support and community spirit on this thread is outstanding and whilst I don't doubt your willpower I think you would miss this crazy crowd and they love hearing from everyone..even those who pop in from time to time.

    ISoM, SFT is right.

I'm sure people aren't offended if they don't get every one of their postings read by every single participant.

You could always just come on to let us know how you're getting on with your challenge even if you aren't able to spend the time reading the other posts.

Even if it's a weekly, fortnightly, monthly update?

Please stay, you know you want to.

  • Thank you SFT, nicky and pv...comments are appreciated. I do appreciate the sentiment sft but I do like to do things properly and just dont feel I can keep up and its been getting to the point where its having the opposite effect to the one I wanted and is just making me feel I cant cope with this on top of everything else..plus juggling what comes from this or that budget is tying me in knots and I need to just get back to the simple way I do mine without getting tied up in knots and feeling a failure...much as I would love to be able to do sparkly spreadsheets I cant! Plus also need to support people I have become friends with while living a fairly busy money making lifestyle with the odd bit of chilling thrown in!
Its been lovely to get to know some of you and I will miss people but I really do feel I'm doing the right thing - not going to diminish my desire to pay 10,000 off this year if I can and thats enough to be going with me thinks!! hugs for you! Congratulations Lesley!! hugs those that need them....but most of all keep up the good work!!

  • just got email from imeasure and there's a link to an article about an electric refuse truck powered by the waste it collects - and it's in the town near me! I hadn't heard about it though  perhaps it will become more popular if it works, interesting anyway.

  • Will get flowers on day. Maybe I should be worrying now..??? I decided the day before my wedding I wanted to make favours and I wanted flowers after being adamant I wasn't that kind of girl. I called into the florist on the morning of the wedding and bought some pink gerberas (£1 each) and they gave me coordinating ribbon which I wrapped round the stem ends and taped. Simple but I had something to hold while walking down the "aisle" The day is definitely about family and friends being there to witness your special moment - I cried and OH had tears in his eyes when we were looking into each other's eyes saying our vows.

Also I'm planning on going on Orange Wednesday tomorrow..could I just check that you text 241 to Orange in morning and then they text you a code which you show to sales assistant at Cinema. Don't want to get it wrong as going with a friend and would feel silly if I got it wrong. Thanks SFT Exactly right blank text to 241 then your code comes back -you turn up at cinema with your code. Did you check on Orange website it is an Orange Weds cinema - not all of them are!

Lynda Congratulations - really exciting to have new home and new fiance all at once.

Had a great second day at work and several mystery shopping assignments tomorrow so just had time to run into library and grab a couple of mosaic books. NSD today - my only spending for tomorrow is postage of a dvd to my mum -refunded for by mystery shopping.

Thought I wouldn't get away with just the short message...

So full details are that we moved in on Friday, and were sat enjoying our bottle of champagne in the evening when bf asked me to marry him, even got down on one knee, it was very romantic :D I have a white gold ring with inset sapphires and diamonds, it's really pretty.

    Congratulations Lynda,

I hope you are both very happy together in your new home. When's the wedding? :smileyhea  :smileyhea

    Evening all.

Im in soo much pain.. with my neck. I have my friend coming round in a bit to wrap DD present because i cant lift it or bend down to wrap it. I got stuck putting DD to bed (bottom bunk) and couldnt get up.
Have to ring docs back at 8am tomorrow. These tablets r only taking the edge away for the pain. Im sat on settee as sick of being at table and it took me 10mins to get up. I dont know how im going to lie flat tonight or get comfy.. because i cant sleep sat up with lots of pillows..my pillow is really really flat and i have to sleep flat lol.
Feel bad that nothing has gone right for DD birthday this week regarding going to a play centre which i re arranged for tomorrow plus a tea party but im going to just have to see how iam. As obv my neck wasnt right yesterday when i thought it was as my neck wouldnt of pulled just by grabbin DD's arms this morning and pulling her up. Feel bad i cant wrap her present either :(

    Mumzy,

I would not accept that response from the doctor - you have been ill with this since the weekend. Could you not ask your friend to sit with the kids and go to A & E? I think you are getting messed about from the doctors, it's not right. I know it's difficult to get someone to sit with the kids, but you need to look after yourself. Congratulations on your test results by the way, that was great!!:j :j

Let us know what you decide to do - at least phone the NHS 24 back for a second opinion.
