Just a quick hello from me... working from home today! I have a real home to work from, and have now mostly got an office, though I need a better desk. All going very well, moved in Friday and am now mostly unpacked!
Things also going very well with living with bf, and he is now officially an h2b!Live on £11k in 20110 -
I'm sure I was always taught "necessary" had one 'c' and 2 's's - and that the way to remember was it's "necessary" for a shirt to have one collar and two sleeves
Mind - spelling's not my strong point (neither are geography - very few countries I know the captial cities for! - and history)
Glad that you feel it went well :T I hate tests of any type :eek:Cheryl0 -

Hope you're training him in 'all things frugal' from the off though -- my DH didn't take kindly to me trying to convert him in later yearsThe only thing that stopped the moaning was telling him it was the only way he could have any beer money :rolleyes2

:T mumzy!! Well done
cw is right though, for future reference - your tutor must have said one coffee, two sugars. Who cares though as that's a great mark
And :T:T :T to lynda, I'm really happy for you. Congratulations :jLive on £4000 a Year Challenge member

been thinking of your kitchen and frugal storage ...................we have cup hooks screwed into the bottom of all our wall units ........some for cups some for utensil(fish slice etc) also had thought of using jars of lught stuff screwed into there too like hubby has in the shed with screws could use shelves for all the above too.
some nice uses of jars here

Thanks Shaz, I'm just needing something to screw hooks & shelves into as I have only one wall unit but it doesn't have a support bar under it yet - 'No More Nails' will be back in action soon, we just need to sort out all the spare bits of timber we already have and I have more to come via Freecycle
I know I was here earlier updating my budget and explaining about my miscellaneous spends but I forgot to mention one important fact - the kitchen spends only amounted to £34.97 including P&P before cashback and I've won another £50 on Premium Bonds today - in my excitement of discovering the win I forgot to mention it in previous post! :rotfl:
 Well done Mumzy, but are you sure your English teacher didn't say to remember the spelling of 'necessary' by thinking of a single Coffee with 2 Sugars? I'm thinking you could have had 37/40 if you'd had less coffeeRegardless of that, WELL DONE on such a fantastic score. :T :j (Edited in - oops, sorry! Was on phone and by time I posted this several others had already posted. But I'm still proud of you for getting such a great score and for having the courage to go back to studying in the first place - just need you to quit on the cigs now - after you've celebrated

Thank you! He's already very frugal, so doesn't need any training :jLive on £11k in 20110 -
