Hi all :hello: Can someone point me in the direction of the naughty step please? I've been shopping again.
I've bought even more shoes and boots... Arghhhhhh...
My day started very frugally with a free trip to the cinema but went downhill from there...
I seen to have bought more pairs of boots and shoes in the past 8 days (3prs shoes +1pr trainers + 3 pr boots  ) than the previous 18 Months (6prs, possibly 7 as I didn't record last summer very accurately)  . This is ridiculous!! I normally really struggle to find shoes that will fit me (very wide feet combined with a foot medical problem) but not this year obviously. I promise to sort them out and work out which will go back in the next few days...
On a more frugal note I hit Boots and got...- 2x mouthwash (2x250ml bogof smile),
- feminine supplies (buy 1 get one halfprice),
- shower gel,
- handwash refill,
- 2x500ml shampoo
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Someone talk me out of the perfume I've been eyeing up too please.:rotfl:
It looks like my fave perfume is reduced (~1/3 off giftset) in one of the shops I was in today. I promised myself I'd look at the perfume article on MSE and price check the websites and not just buy it... It turns out that that shop is the cheapest (by ~£4) for the perfume compared to the cheapest website (and as it is the giftset it comes with 100ml body moisturiser too). I have enough to do me till the summer but would need to buy more then unless I get given some again for my birthday. Will this keep ok till then?
I'm really coming across as a girly girl at the moment aren't I? That is soooooooooo far from the truth its not funny. :rotfl: I guess with all thats gone on with me in the last few years (recovering from an eating disorder and associated depression) caring about how I look (or smell lol) is quite a novelty! It used to be a huge battle just to get dressed every day so its still feels new to feel comfortable about myself enough to care about what I am wearing!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Do you think that is why people in the past were more content even though they had a lot less than we do ?
Taka I would go for it because perfume unopened can keep a long time, just keep it in a dark place. I have a few bottles in my underwear drawer I got them very cheap from avon in 2007 and they look fine.

Taka - I think it seems an important part of your healing to learn to look good and that you are worth that. I can certainly relate to knowing for me, it's important to spend a little more on clothes as it took me so long to make more of myself too. So as long as you keep monitoring your self after splurges, and calmly decide what to keep and what to return if anything, I think you are doing well.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
