I really like cooking as well scrooge and am going to get into baking more as well. I made a fruit loaf last weekend and it was really nice, and much better than anything from the bakers. I'm going to do treacle scones on Wednesday, as I love these.:D I might do liver and bacon in my slow for dinner too that day, I haven't had that for years and I really like liver. I forgot all about it until someone on here mentioned it, so will give it a bash.0

Nyk, please can you add me to the list? I think it will inspire me to go that extra mile and start recording things properly [rushes off to log onto online banking and get spends]
:T Yeah! We got another one! :j Off to add your name to my list and then switching off for the night before the house blows down! My poor greenhouseIs anyone else in the country being blasted by these gales? Surely the winds have to drop sometime soon. It was the exact same this time last year, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm trying to buy some gifts from the B*dy Shop via T*pcashback but I'm having all sorts of trouble! First their stupid address system asks for my postcode and promptly inserts the address of a neighbour , not my address; then it goes on inserting it regardless of my repeated corrections, then it tells me to 'click on the edit button' if I want to alter details BUT THERE IS NO EDIT BUTTON.:mad: It won't let me access the 'your details' part of the website. :wall:Finally it tells me that for some reason I can't go through the checkout (at least, that's what it seems to be saying in some weird Geekish language distantly related to English).
I don't know why I can't go through the checkout because of course no information is supplied, but I think it's probably because the bluddy system keeps telling itself the wrong address and then that doesn't match with my credit card details.:mad::mad: I send an email to their customer service and get one back which refers me to their FAQs, which i have already been through and none of which has been the slightest help...however it also says they will be in touch soon. Rant over,
I am now going to bed!!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone
Quite pleased with myself today. Went to Mr S and bought a load of woopsied veg fruit, pies, fish and some reduced xmas biscuits for kids (really!). OH came with me and was so impressed. All should have come to a total of £140ish - till receipt - £23.03. Made HM bread yesterday and pot of soup. Went to Mr A and got washing powder at £3.00 deal and sausages at 40p. Trouble is - my freezer is packed. Will ask DM to let me use the space in her freezer - it's larger than mine.
Going to cook the weeks meals tomorrow unless I get called into work. Hope to have at least 3 NSD's this week apart from milk.
It's blowing a gale here too.0 -
HI SM: putting the lists up here is making a real difference. It gives me that extra push, as though I need to be accountable to you alll for not being a complete slacker:D . Several things I have done when totally not in the mood (comletely differnt from not feeling well enough) and have just forced myself to get on with it and low and behold, things get done:j .
Yes, another little declutter splurge.
I find I am trying to be realistic in my daily goals: not too many and with the decluttering, a little bit every day is telling.
As for th ebay - not bad seeing as i spend all last year completely ebay phobic:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

:T :T Keep up the good work
E-bay is the final frontier for me    , amazon I can just about cope with for books etc but I m terrified of selling on e-bay and have only bought from shops on there. Most of my stuff goes to friends/charity shop (local one that provides electric wheelchairs etc for local kids - close to my heart;) )0
