Hey Shelley. That s a good idea, have not thought of it. I will do the same and ask if they have anything up their sleeve. Thanks for that.

So far today I have managed........ nothing !!
Discovered this morning that my current phone call provider (also DD's provider of all phone and B/band) appears to have cut our phone lines off early (for outgoing calls) leading up to our move to a new provider (which I've been promised on the phone this morning is happening on 8th Jan, but the on-line system shows 3rd Feb  ) If we didn't have mobiles we'd be well and truly snookered -- especially DD as she's a single Mum (with no transport of her own in an emergency) !!
It kind of put me all off kilter, and unable to get motivated to do anything
But I have put a call in to HR where I worked over my redundancy pay (I can't figure out how they got the figure they paid me, but reckon it's almost £4k down on what I was expecting). I've had a call back from the lady I left a message for, and now have a number for someone else she's passed the query on to........Cheryl0 -
Hello!!
My earn it before spend it challenge is not going that well. My Amaz0n proseller subscription went out and wiped out my earnings and more. Even with the £60 in the starting pot I am now £3.15 deficit in my budget as I had to get fruit and yoghurt for DD's evening snacks. I did also get some cooking sauces (tikka masala bigish jar 49p and stir fry pouches 3 for a pound).
As soon as I get DD to bed I will make a cash flow forecast to help me keep track of things, I had it for last year and it was very handy in showing exactly what day I will run out of cash. (As long as I keep it updated)
I have some left over rice in the fridge so off I go to heat up that tikka masala sauce and the left over meatballs. Then tomorrow I can pull some whoopsied roasted chicken pieces from freezer to go with the leftover curry. And I have sandwiches ready to take for lunch tomorrow to my placement!
Janey - just the type of evening that I like :T
Have everybody lovely time.
Marru
PS I don't do any ironing and so far I have managed to get away for not doing itI did iron DD's dress for her school party and that was my ironing achievement for 2008.
:o
Edit: hugs cw, just what you don't need."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi all
Phew, finally got to the end of the thread, hard work lol.
Great day today, made £360 in my new web marketing business, fab news. However this needs to stay in the business and does not belong to me, and I must remember this and not take it out straight away (my previous downfall)
NSD today except the Sun for the holiday vouchers - thanks guys for that.
Great fun yesterday in Lidl, got loads for £33.90, 1kg of onions for 17p, much better than Tesco. Currently batch cooking Sausage Tonight to use it up - been in the cupboard for 6 months. Looking forward to cooking bread using Lidl flour as per your tips.
Thanks for all your posts guys, you really help keep me on track reading about your day!

Could you highlight the text and read it that way. It would then be white letters on blue background - don't know if that would help
I do this when the regulars post in white writing when we are trying to sneak something past Nyk...:rotfl: makes it visible again;) sshhh .. don't tell Nyk.;)0 -

Evening all!
So many teachers, but 4-5 yr olds SFT  I prefer mine 10 years older with a hoody and an attitude
I managed to get out for a lovely walk today, as I just needed to feel alive. It was beautiful! Forgot about it being Woolies last day today as was on phone chatting to Marru - dashed down there for 5.25pm but they wouldn't let me in the door  Oh well. Hadn't had any lunch so bought a small bag of chips (very unlike me) and there were so many I had to give them to OH when he got home! Will remember to eat at home in future, just having an out of sync day as slept mid morning.
Shame about the pony, it could've been our 4k mascot :rotfl:We could tour round the country with it teaching people how to live frugally
Sorted out WTC today and we're still getting the same amount, plus a backdated month so that's a real help! :T Couldn't get through TV licensing's bizarre phone system to speak to anyone though.
Still need to plan tomorrow's lesson, can't face it for some reason, maybe 'back to work' itis? Oooh, it feels good to be normal :rotfl:
The big Janey sandwich sounds great -I may have to buy a duvet so I can do that too...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
