    talking of debt.

ive paid some of one online and submitted paperwork to have cleared it by dd by october 2009

and a second one to clear it by october 2009 and paying the odd amount over the phone by debit card

just the others 2 sort now, 2 to ring tomorrow to request full and final settlement in writeing (as i have enough to pay both off if they keep to the full and final)

then just 2 more 1 will be ticky, the 2nd i know the ex has the letters for, the tricky one can also be paid by the end of 2009 is i throw £350 a month at it (which i can do on this challenge just about)

    Hullo everyone,

Run out of time to post by the time I've read it all.

Yesterday lunch with MIL and hair cut and hair dye; looks fab. Tea with parents. Aunty's for lunch today. also got given some stuff for Ds' homework, which will save a few pennies.

Finished a book this morning. Can you guys post about relaxing stuff you do as well as all your shopping trips because I feel really lazy if I haven't ticked 100 things off my list by 9am?!

Hi guys, a fairly productive day for me today. I have spent spent £8.50 on petrol, it would have been £12, but i got £3.50 free thanks to petrol costs for a mystery shop. This covered my petrol for the mystery shops today, where i got £3 of free food and used that money to buy 4 lots of jaffa cake bars as it was buy one get one free.

I also did a pub mystery shop for lunch, so got to meet up with a friend and have free food. Its filled me up so tea will only be something light.

Sounds like everyone is very motivated and got lots achieved already.

Whitewing, no need to feel lazy at all, just shuffle on over to my corner for some serious moral support ;)
Space now SFT, oops :o (decluttering my virtual space is on the list for this year too :D)
Thanks for the hands Marru, luckily OH did a good job with the shopping so need to change them to strangling ones :rotfl:A couple of tins of basics tomatoes jumped into the trolley at 35p each :eek: so they'll be going back unless everyone's put their prices up this much already? He also got me some meds for a certain painful women's prob - £4.25  I've tried to get out of taking it but research suggests this is the best way, esp. as cranberry may in fact make it worse  Also on the list was cat food which he got quite a lot of for half price, same with mint tea - he's learning :T
Off to put the first spends in mynew spreadsheet, woo hoo!

    Relaxing or none-HW?

I went to SM's again last night to "help" with the "oldies" buffet. I did help eat it :rolleyes2
(Honest Injun I did help pass things round and clear up too!)

Been out at an all day crop today (scrapbooking get-together), so have had a chill-out day :T

The 'free cinema thread' in the freebies board on this forum is a great place to look for codes. Managed to bag myself the above film, Australia and Bride Wars over the next week. I would be seeing all those films anyway so money saved. :)

I managed to get a freebie for Slumdog Millionaire this morning - great film, really enjoyed it. Just had to pay for tain fare (gone up ). Also "spent" my booktokens, got 6 months worth of contact lens solutions with a giftcard & got a free coffee with a loyalty card! All in all, not a bad day! Just as well - I'm dreading the next heating bill. Its sooooo cold here, even in thermals/fleece. I was going to paint my toenails but its too cold to take socks & slippers off :rotfl:

I'm also thrilled to get my Sun £9.50 holiday priority booking form - how sad am I?

Good luck to everyone - I'm updating my figures on the 10th when I know all my DDs have gone through. Hopefully won't be too shocking....
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D

Have just made first Appr00ved F00ds order, lots of goodies which are actually coming out of last years budget (was included in last years figures)as had put the money onto my prepay card ready to order between Xmas & new Year and then obviously they were shut.

They are all things that will get used over the coming months, did add in soem of that curry sauce on top of what I'd originally planned.

Also got Dh ciggie papers as they work out ot 7p per pack rather than 25p/28p in the corner shop.

All in all spent £40 including delivery.

Will be keeping an eye and probably ordering once a month or every couple of months.
    My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
    So we’re empty nesters.
    Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman

So that means no work this week so no pay. Ho hum. The good news is that tpc have paid out on bingo from november so that's £30 into kitchen funds:j .
Have now added extra column to account spreadsheets to account for discounts and resistance to extra spending, so thanks for that idea bails.

In this weeks radio times thay are advertising a new series that starts next Thurs on frugal victorian farm living. Top tipform participant is most ordinary laundry doesn't need saop, it's the bashing that does the cleaning. I must tru reducing futher how much soap I put in. Once I've used up my supplies migh thing further about soap nuts. She learnt to use a touch of alcohol as stain remover and HM ginger beer with root ginger, honey & water. Looks a good series: they are the same team who did the excellent17th Century version 'How green is my valley' a few years ago.
