You are starting a DMP .. and hoping that they will help you by freezing interest and charges to help enable you to pay back what you owe.

Er - no - I've been on a dmp over two years - I'm number 32 on this support thread - and now there's over 300 people - so it was that long ago ;)

Most have frozen interest and charges - I have to notify them why I'm making a reduced payment so they don't start charging again ;)

It's just if I ring I need to do it where no-one can hear (open plan office) and I still can't actually say the words my dad died without crying :(

Yeah you're right - they don't really give a stuff do they? I've just got to make sure they know that this is a one off reduced payment and that things should go back as they were afterwards - that way they shouldn't take any action coz I've told them.

Absolutely!.. and Ive read other people say that they have made reduced payments here and there.

Everything is not set in stone is it.. things in life DO crop up.. Make up any ole thing.
You wont be the first or the last to make a reduced payment.

(im back on track now.. :o:o:rotfl:)

Newlywed if they had an ounce of human in them they will understand why you have reduced your payment this month, be brave I know its still fresh and you dont want to say the D word, but do it then you can concentrate on grieving. Good luck xx
