I was just thinking too.. I may come a little unstuck with them..

Because I cant actually find anything on my paper work that is a 'paying in' account number.
So I don't know what account number to set a standing order up to.

and they are hardly likely to give me one...

    Hmmmmm.....

Eupho - had a thought whilst sitting here in work (& not doing any work)

do you have access to Internet banking? if so you can find Hitachi bank details on the list of finance companies - same as if you were paying them a Bill Payment via the internet.

if you haven't - let me know & i can use my Internet Banking to find for you.

I have noticed each day.. how much more back to my 'old self' I am becoming.

All this debt malarky has been spinning in my mind for the last few years and pretty much over ridden everything else.. So even when I was smiling and laughing.. inside I was still going.. 'omg omg omg omg' ...

I notice this last few days.. when I have a quiet moment.. my mind is blissfully EMPTY.
(and not just coz I am a blondie) ;):rotfl:

It's been soooooooo nice!.. As I keep saying. I just don't feel scared of it all any more.. and prepared to fight. :T

oh god Eupho - my sentiments exactly!!!!

was having a good old sort out of all the debt paperwork - all put in files etc & then had a read through the booklet from debt helpline - i KNOW i'm going to have defaults & possibly even ccj's  on my credit file - but as i am NEVER going to have credit again (not that i can get it anyway) whats the worst that will happen? i have to think like this otherwise i would end up in that chair 'rocking away' !

hope everyone has good days today - the sun is glorious here in essex!!

No, you can still reclaim all credit card charges.

You can still try to reclaim bank charges using the financial hardship rules. All cases are judges seperately. Being on a DMP is a good sign of financial hardship though!

Hi all, how are we on this beautiful day?

A quick question for you. Has anyone actually accepted a F&F, to settle an account. And if so, have any of the other creditors grumbled about preferential treatment for the F&F'd creditor?

    Any comments gratefully received!

Hi sorry not posted for ages was away last week (nothing glamorous, week in a tent!) but huge fun!
Anyway, paid money to CCCS today via the post office (1st one) and sent off rest of token payments as most payments weren't due until beginning of June anyway.
I can't stop looking in my bank account and love seeing a CR balance!!
I feel quite calm and prepared now, and least all paperwork done which seemed to take ages.

Hope everyone else is doing ok :D

    Hi cleomolly

i also have to say this site is also my lifesaver! but to stop the 'breakdown' - i find it best to work things through - don't ignore letters - phone calls are easier - if you have caller ID you don't have to answer them -but having said that - once you do talk to them - its a weight off your mind.

i make a list each week (i'm sad like that) of all the 'financial' things i have to do - don't tackel everything at once - you will have a headache & a sleepless night - not worth it.

we all know how serious debt problems are -but i think the most importnat thing is we are dealing with them!!!

as Eupho's signature says -' proud to be dealing with my debts'

Daaaaang!.. I just tried it.. (great idea!) ... But instead of what I have seen in the past... with the Company name and numbers.
    It DOES find it..

    then just it shows as: Hitachi Capital # # # # # # # # # # #

    like that.. :wall:

I will have a look on old statements on-line and see if it shows anything on the payments to them.

    Edited to add:

Well.. looking at the DDs it took.. it does show a number. I would post it here.. but not sure I should in case they can track me down..

    Howdy Hitachi  ;)

I'm just not sure if it's right.. or the right format or whatever for paying into.

Anyone in the know about these things.. please PM me so I can show you the number. .:iloveyou:
