  • Hi, first post though have lurked obsessively for last few weeks. Am wading through everything for CCCS plan, God it's hard, but definitely feel I'm making progress after being bogged down and terrified for months. Wish I'd done it a long time ago.

Anyway, wanted to ask - one of the debts is the overdraft. The Bank haven't specified a payment that we have to make every month so what do I put as the minimum payment that they're expecting so CCCS can work out the pro rata payments?

    Ta:hello:
  • Still no letter from any creditor, starting to feel like they don't :smileyhea me anymore, have I annoyed the hell out of them with my constant bombardment of letters? :rotfl:

Am in two minds whether to go it alone with our DMP's, I owe alot less than OH and am getting slightly deflated looking at the statements from CCCS with the same amount still on for the past few months we have been on it together (due to interest/charges being added previously on OH debts:mad: ) My debts are being paid less due to it going by this pro rata payment system CCCS use to make sure its all equal between the creditors. OH is self employed and it still isn't guaranteed that his work could stop like before. I just want that extra incentative to get the debt down quicker.

Kudox - how did CCCS work out your household/bills being on seperate DMPs? who pays what in your house? :D

POP - congratulations!, we all know what you have been up to, saving money not going out during the credit crunch! :rotfl:

Hope everyone doing well and not stressing like I was a week ago :o

    take care ;)

    Hello and welcome

CCCS work out the payments for you based on what you owe so everyone gets an equal share. It will be CCCS who informs the bank what your new payments will be based on what you told them.

  • Hi everyone

I have a query, this is our 2nd month on the DMP. We sent £1 token payments in February and the 1st DMP payments in March, shortly coming up to our 2nd.

However, there are 3 creditors we havent heard anything from.

    Nationwide CC
    Tesco CC
    Abbey CC

I spoke to CCCS today who said chances are they have accepted the DMP but are not bothering to write to us or CCCS.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?

I have a Style CC via RBS and they haven't been in touch with myself or CCCS either. Still receiving a statement and interest from them though.

  • 1st time I've managed to login for over a week, things have been very quiet and 2nd payment went out to CCCS today. Only problem we're having at the moment is Next. They agreed to our DMP and to stop interest but stated that the payment must be with them before the 17th of each month. Problem is, CCCS send the payments out on the 25th, I had informed them that Next wanted their payment earlier but they said stick with it and Next will tow the line.

Well Next have phoned a few times over the last couple of days but haven't been able to speak to DH (account in his name) and lo and behold today their statement arrived with interest stating that we're in breach of our payment arrangement:mad: .

Spoken to CCCS who will send them the paperwork again explaining that their payments are disputed on the 25th so fingers crossed they accept this time.

OMG... I had forgotten tomorrow was my big day (as well as lots of others of you)! I feel like I've been on here so long and have gained so much knowledge that it seems like I'm already on my DMP :D

My DMP starts tomorrow! Got to go to the post office to make my first payment. My payments are due the 2nd for most of my creditors so guessing things are going to kick off then :( v worried.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts...I've had my statement from CCCS to show how the money will be distributed. 3 creditors are getting £30 less than the min payment so they should be ok with that hopefully? (2 are mbna) but my big loan with nationwide is now getting half the payment and a small minimum payment on an aqua credit card is now getting half. Does anyone have any thoughts on how well these payments will be received? I know it's different for everyone but any thoughts welcome...

So when is the 'virtual' party for the April the 1st ers?

Logging onto the coop online banking can be a bit strange. I tend to go to their homepage and clicking on the online banking link at the top right of the screen, as I found having a bookmark straight to the login screen could cause problems...

Had a letter from Abbey the other day. 6 months in and they still say they haven't received anything from PayPlan! Grr...
