Oh !!!!!! I've got one CC with HSBC. My hit list is as follows
HSBC Credit Card - £2000
A & L Credit Card (with MBNA)- £1000
A & L Overdraft - £1000
A & L Personal Unsecured Loan - £13500 approx
Student Loan - £7700 approx
Loan from Parents - £3635
Student Loan shouldn't present too many problems I hope. Slightly worried about A & L though as they have most of my debt and why I'm trying to get my bank account changed asap - anybody had experience of them??
Bit worried abou the phone calls etc but what can they do apart from push me down other routes - bankruptcy or iva in which case they get paid back less and have to write a lot off. I've only got £10k approx in equity - and thats on the generous side with todays prices

Total Unsecured debt = £18,835
A & L Personal Loan - £10,000, Student Loan - £6500, Parental Loan - £23350 -
Well, hello everyone, just an update from me, hope you all didnt miss me too much
I have been feeling like my arm has been cut off as my internet was down, missed keeping up with the thread again  have missed about 4 pages, im sure i will catch up again?!
The eery quietness of my creditors has been broken by next who have kindly said they will set up an agreement for the offered amount when our dmp starts in may :T just to keep making token payments until then. The lady was really nice. Also got our bank statement in from the bank with the overdraft and all the interest rates are at zero and no interest has been added, will take that as a good sign although not heard anything official yet.
Hope everyone is getting on ok! I'm going to buy myself a pretty lever arch file tomorrow, now that i have somthing worthwhile to put in it! :rotfl:DFW NERD NO. 1074 :T0 -
Its strange to see how the same creditors treat each person differently, i have the above 3 as crediotrs also but my experiences with them were complately different.
Monument cc straight away sold my debt to Cabot collections who have been fantstic and have accepted dmp payments for last 3 years and offered me 2 full and finals in last yr.
Egg- Have been great since day 1.
Natwest cc- Have been one of the best creditors to deal with for me.
Im wondering if its to do with ballances or if they just change their tactics daily??
This is so true. I think creditors do obviously go on balances but also some work with regards to what company you have your DMP with. I know for a fact that MBNA have agreements in place with CCCS. Thats not to say they don't work with Payplan they must do, it's just their preference is with CCCS, once again though they must have limits to what they accept.
I had issues with Egg at first. I had constant calls from a DCA who clearly work on their behalf (CSL), they were threatening, rude & even insulted me on the phone. They had all my DMP details yet they claimed they didn't despite the fact I had sent everything recorded delivery. It wasn't until I wrote them a strongly worded letter did I get them to stop.:j DMP mutual support thread member - 135:j0 -
Morning all:hello:
I seem to have this strange urge to check this thread out first thing in the morning then several times throughout the day
I for one am not missing getting 10 calls a day from the bank - just enjoying a bit of peace. OH has been in a much better mood since the phone calls stopped too which is a relief!
Just to update you on the stationery side of things - I went into Staples yesterday and bought some plastic envelopes to properly organise my creditors into, so now each has their own envelope AND their own coloured sticker!!:rotfl: I also recently started keeping a log of letters & telephone conversations etc.
I'm off to Tesco now for the weekly shop where I'll try and do better than my overspend of £15 last week.
Hope you all have a good weekend

Morning Everyone - havent posted properly for a couple of days but i have been lurking:rolleyes: ......i dont have any further creditor info, Natwest loan & CC and Littlewoods catalogues are the only creditors we have heard from and they have all rejected our DMP payment.
Eerily the Barclaycard calls and Capital one calls have stopped and we've not heard a peep out of MBNA which i'm amazed at as hubby missed one payment about 5 years ago due to a DD mix up and they were calling him at work and all sorts - hopefully thats a good sign? We've not had any post yet today so we'll see what if anything that brings:rolleyes:.
I hope everyone has a really good weekend, i'm off to check out some stationary and see if i can keep up with you all (i have a battered A4 hardback note book at the moment with everything just shoved in the front:o )....

Hey everyone,
So many newbies every time I log on - welcome to you all!
We are chugging along nicely with no bother except from Halifax Loans who a year later are STILL ringing at least one a month to say the same thing - DH now fails the seucrity check so they can't actually speak to him when they ring lol!!
BUT, I am getting a bit sick of it so want to write to them asking them to remove our number and correspond via letter only. I have browsed forum for a template letter that talked about harassment but can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please??
Other than that not much news - I am just blowing our monthly food budget as I can only ward off morning sickness by EATING!! Not good...

hi all, I'm new to this site, but have been viewing for a while, i am so confused on how to get on to a DMP with CCCS, i have filled in my debt remedy and have a copy in front of me, but I can't work out how to do the next step and register with them, my creditors are hounding me saying they need the CCCS number, and for them to contact them, but I don't know how to do this. I spoke to CCCS the other night but had to mumble (ion the workplace) and they said that they don't talk to the creditors... and that I need to send out the offer letters of payment which I have, and all have been quite good and said yes they will help, but need this info from CCCS, I am so confused, can anyone point me in the right direction?:beer:0

Welcome pedrothewheel - Hopefully someone will be along to help soon, I'm with PayPlan so can't help (I did all mine over the phone).
When you did the debt remedy online, was there not an option to say "Yes I'd like to go ahead with the remedy"?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
I'm afraid not, it says you list your creditors don't give account numbers at this stage, but that's about it.:beer:0

HI and welcome to this FAB thread,:j
I did my CCCS remedy on lne and then when it came with the choices at the end, I clicked on the DMP and it then asked me to complete name, tel numbers , address , email etc and then within the next few days I had received my contract agreement from them in the post.:D Have you had to fill in those details yet?
