Bunnygreen, take no notice it's all huff and puff on the part of HSBC they are trying it on. Let the CCCS deal with it, the next dept is DCA (in house I think) who are more likely to accept a reduced payment. I agree tho' HSBC are the worst ones I am dealing with, especially the Indian call centres.

Thanks - I will let you know how it goes tomorrow!

Yeh, they are by far the worst - the others have been fairly easy going. Even if they haven't reduced interest, they haven't hassled. But HSBC hassle constantly!

Yes, the Indian call centres are doing my head in, I just keep seeing that my husband is talking to them and they just don't know what he's saying! So frustrating!!

Bunnygreen, give it a week or so, if they still call frequently fire off a harrassment letter, there's a template knocking around here somewhere. That should shut them up :rotfl:

Now I know this is going to sound a contradiction but I'm worrying because I haven't had one phone call today!

Halifax and TSB have been phoning me quite a few times every day for the last week or so and then today... NOTHING! Now I'm wondering what they are up to?

This DMP malarky is making me paranoid! lol

  • Hi stOlli

We are exactly the same No phonecalls - hopefully its because they are dealing with the DMP or its the calm before the storm - sorry thats not very reassuring - but its so great not to have the calls!

I hope there aren't any psycholgy students on here.... would hate to imagine what they would think of me with a) my fixation of lever arch files and filing and b) my paranoia about no longer getting chased by CC companies :rotfl:

Time for a lay down with a cold flannel on my forehead I think.....:D

  • Hi I'm new on this thread but need a little advice. I was in touch with CCCS and after careful consideration tonight I think I'm going to start a DMP. I just wondered what happens after I give them the go ahead and how long does it take to get going?

And I just don't answer my phone anymore, too scared of being bullied :o
Do what you want because in the end people will judge you anyway.
