Hi All
Keep reading all the posts but have had no new questions, you all cover all points so quickly - except noticed on CCCS today my BOS preference account has been changed to Blair Oliver Scott is this a good thing or a bad thing - I know they are BOS really.
I have had no contact with CCCS (DPM started 1/3/09) except through email and the odd letter - got the welcome pack initially, but haven't spoken to anyone at all, is this usual?

Jen in one of your previous posts you siad that you had tracked your payments through Royal Mail, is that for Postal orders? If so how do I track mine?
MD xx
Hi MD,
On your receipt, after total cost of service is the word 'barcode' and then a 13 digit number - if you enter that into the Royal Mail tracking page on their website, it tells you where your recorded post is and can even show you the signature for it. It's reassuring (or irritating, depending on whether your letter has been delivered or is still in the post office! )

Hi all, just had to catch up on this thread, I hadn't realised it had got so busy !
Well, sent my first DMP payment 1st March and I'm now sitting here with money to live on in my account :T
Also got an unexpected bonus through work so has gone straight into my "stash" account to build up my emergency fund :j
All gone eerily quiet, still get the odd phone call but I'm now talking to them as they are ok when you tell them you are with the CCCS, so anyone lurking wondering whether to take the plunge, go for it !
I'll have to log on more often as it's taken me 2 days to catch up on all your news :rotfl:DMP member 265

Thanks DMPdarling and all the posters who are a few months/years in - your positive news is incredibly reassuring to us newbies who are scared silly.
First batch of letters - from Northern Rock - 3 in total!!!!
One to tell me my account is in arrears and to ask for payment.
One to say my DD has been returned unpaid and therefore a charge of £30!!!
One to say they have been informed by my bank they cannot honour my DD.
They should have received my letter and token payment by now.
Should I write to them again? I don't want any more charges!!!
I've also realised that aswell as my landline, I've forgotten to include my yearly professional fees in my DMP - what should I do?

Hi everyone - I haven't been on here for ages and so need to do lots of catching up (I think I was last on here on page 27 or something crazy!)
Anyway - need some HELP!! Today, we have received a FINAL DEMAND! A very scary letter from HSBC (who have been horrible bullies from the start). They are threatening allsorts (and not the nice sweet type either) - debt collectors, solicitors, court! Are these just empty threats to scare us into paying more? We are having our first review on Wednesday and so hoping to increase our payments which I think will meet what they have been asking for in the past 3 months, but I am just worried - it's so horrible receiving a letter like that!
Please help someone! x0 -
Hi massivedebts. I dont believe you can track a postal order. If you have the postal order serial number, then I suppose there should be an audit trail. Personally, I have never used one.

No lever arch file here....
But we have a two drawer filing cabinet with suspension folders and in my section for CCCS I have a plastic wallet for each creditor.
How la de dah! :rotfl:
My lever arch file is feeling a tad inferior now!I still love him (I mean it!) though :rotfl:

Hi Ollie
Our 2 preference accounts and HBOS loan have been passed to Blair Oliver, I had a letter from them saying I had to phone them urgently and then a text saying we must phone them. Was quite nervous about doing it but last night we faced upto it and called them and they were very helpful. When HBOS passed over our accounts they hadn't notified them that we were on a DMP so I gave them all the CCCS details and they were happy. Plus they have confirmed that they have stopped all interest and charges and will accept a reduced settlement value when we have the funds even payable over 3 mths.
My DMP also started on the 01/03/09 and I haven't had much dealings with the CCCS, I think that is normal unless you have problems. All our creditors have accepted payments now, so I don't suppose the CCCS has much to do so they don't need to make contact with us.LBM: 20/01/09 Total Debt: £104,050Curr Bal (25/08/12): £46,109 (55.6% Paid):jDMP Start Date: 01/03/090
