Well, time for me to come clean...I have this very evening taken a phone call from my dad who has a new lever arch file for me!!It is boring black but am going to cover it with some lovely paper, toying with idea of sticking pics of Colin Firth all over it and then when it lolls on sofa with me of an eve will be perfect man-doesn't answer back and looks after all my debts!:rotfl:

HAA there you go.... you will all become converts soon! :j

I now have a vision of you laying on the sofa with the file snuggled in your arms whilst you both watch tv....

OMG this is becoming scary! :rotfl:

Dont actually know if they are happy about the amount of the payment, we went to court, they said they would apply for the charge on the house and thats the last I have heard from them, as far as I know, they haven't applied for the charge so I just keep paying them the amount the court ordered (what CCCS told me to offer according to the DMP) and they can't do a thing about it!

Assume they are ok but hey who knows with these people!!

Can I just ask - are you doing a self administered DMP for this? My OH is self-employed too and it's been impossible to get all the info needed for a CCCS DMP. Would love to know if/when you have any success. Am finding it all a bit of a nightmare at the mo :o

    Hi CornishMaid

My OH and I are both self-employed with seperate businesses but we are doing a joint DMP with CCCS.
It did take a bit of work getting figures together but basically when we had our phone call from CCCS they did a business expenditure form seperately from our household one. They didn't want to see any evidence and were happy for me to give them approximate figures.

    Hope this helps, Sue.x

Hi CornishMaid, yes we are doing (or attemting to) a self administered DMP for OH creditors, as you say it was too complicated to get together all the info cccs needed otherwise. Actually we're in an even more complicated situation since we also have a joint loan and joint overdraft.
After a lot of wondering what to do in the first place we decided to put the joint overdraft on my DMP with cccs and at the time OH was managing to keep up payments to his creditors including the joint loan.
Thats not the case now(he's in construction industry and we all know how thats gone) so the joint loan is going into his self administered DMP.
The overdraft was with RBS and originally they said ok to it going in my DMP though have continued to charge interest, BUT the other day OH got a letter saying they were terminating his accounts including the joint account and wanted immediate payment of both overdrafts
Anyway I had the offers of reduced payment letters with the amounts included ready to send to all OH creditors including RBS so I just reminded them we were already paying the joint account in my DMP.
It's wait and see time at the mo, no-one has phoned or written as yet so we don't know if they've accepted or not. It's immaterial anyway thats all they're getting like it or not.
I wish we could have done a joint DMP everything would have been a lot simpler but I'm slowly getting to grips with it. It is a nightmare but I've had a lot of advice from this site re template letters etc.
Hope thats of some help will keep you posted as to their reaction.
Sorry for long post hope I have'nt sent everyone to sleep.:rotfl:

2spicy - I meant to ask do you have a £110 weekly food shopping allowance for 3 of you??
    MDxx
Yes, our monthly food allowance as detailed by Payplan on our DMP is £439.00 per month which I origionally thought was a little low, but even with a 2 1/2 yr old boy to contend with is ample food (were not even on the real "value" brands yet!(ADSA Spartprice for us all the way!))

Thank you - please keep me posted - would love to know how you get on. We are doing a joint DMP as I have no income at the moment (doing my final year of teacher training in September but took a year out to look after my boy). My hubbie is in the fishing industry and has "interesting" accounts to say the least, which is all very well, but he is leaving it up to me to sort stuff out - it's very difficult :o

Wishing you all the best, CM.
