I just wouldn't phone back in this case personally! they are bound to phone again at which time you can 'be too busy' or something or your dmp will have started!!

I have to say I'm getting so much better at just saying no to these people! It will be easier when you're dmp starts I promise!!

Until you have improved your situation, we are unable to provide you with a solution to your debt problem, because you have no money available to repay your debts

I put my wages in as the reduced hours i am on now not the usual as i do not know when we go back to normal hours as we are on short time.

What the heck do i do now.

Trying to keep calm hands shaking BP gone sky high.

    Quiilion dont panic!

Firstly is it just cccs you have contacted? or have you tried payplan too? If you havent id give them a ring and see if they can help, as im not sure but may work on slightyl different figures.

If after speaking to both free comapnys ie cccs/payplan and both say they can not help...then the next step would be to do a self managed dmp, with the help from us all on here, it can be quite a straight forward process just means you will have alot more paperwork to sort out yourself...but before we look into this possiblity for you...make sure you have been turned down by both dmps companys cccs/and payplan.

Keep smiling you havent found the answer to your situation YET that doesnt mean there isnt one.

Yes yes yes..just sent them a token payment and a covering letter explaining you are seeking advise from a dmp company and will be it touch as soon as you have an new details to pass onto them.
Explain in overing letter that this is a token payment towrads the debt until dmp is set up...they dont know you havent got one sorted yet.
Send them anything as low as a £1....stash the spare money away for a emergency fund if you manage to get a dmp up and running with payplan and even if this doesnt happen you will have a emergency fund ready for helping you if you decided to do a self managed dmp.

    Hi everyone

Well we have just had our annual review with Payplan, and after all that I am pleased to say that hopefully things will be okay.:j We have had to reduce our payments due to OH having to go on reduced hours at work. It was either that or take redundancy. !..Payplan were brilliant, and I have always found them very friendly and non-judgemental. They will now send a new Financial Statement to all our creditors, and hopefully they will all accept our reduced payments. I now totally expect the phone calls to start again, but I have become quite hardened to these now. At the end of the day, if we had the money to pay them off, we would, but as it is they can't have money that we don't have. I am happy that we are dealing with our debt responsibly, and eventually we will be out of this mess.
