Fingers crossed it passes....have put money away out of hubbys wages today to pay for it...we will just have to wait and see!

Well first payment via payplan due out on sunday...so will leave bank monday morning, took me a while to sort out my figures this morning as i am paying alot more per month via payplan than was with fee paying gits!! But it is still a level im happy with and means the debts going to go down even quicker.:D
Spent this morning paying the rent, and all other bills..plus had a letter saying my rents going up £5 a week from april...so another £20 a month to account for!!!! But im on a high at the minute again..thinks its from starting to post as often as i did in 3 years ago and you lot getting the adrenilin buzzing again!

Good morning and welcome to the weekend everyone!:j:j:j

Had a right disaster with my grocery shopping yesterday... spent £58 just for me and my son!!! Recently I've been going shopping with my mum (she is soooooo good with money) and she really keeps me focussed and my bill has been hovering around £30 mark give or take a few pounds. The first time I go unescorted and I go completly off the rails! ... Admittedly I did buy quite a few things on offer so have a very good stock pile but just goes to show I can't be trusted on my own!

I've just realised that £58 is exactly the amount that CCCS budget for each week for the two of us but I was trying to cut that down and save the extra.

Who would've thought I would get to this age and still can't be trusted out alone! :D

    It can only get better!!!

    Morning everyone!

Try not to worry too much md, CCCS are probably so bogged under, your documents are probably in a pile somewhere just waiting to be sorted.;) Last time I spoke to them on the phone they said they were inundated with new clients.

St0lli I had a bit of a disaster with my shopping yesterday too - spent £75 instead of the usual £60ish - but I can't work out why! Possibly something to do with chocaholism!:o

Morning Everyone - there i was saying y'day that i was off to enjoy the weekend and then the post comes...CCCS have written to advise one of the catalogues wont accept the DMP payment even though its just £4 less than the original payment!! Also with the post came 5 default notices!!!! yes 5...all in one day.Thats 6 in all so far (just another 11 to go) ....i know its a good thing that they come sooner rather than later but oh god it is so deflating when you open them!!!! I just hope the fact they have been issued so quickly indicates they will accept the DMP payments.

On the phone front it seems to have calmed down again - barclaycard agreed to remove my number and await confirmation from CCCS that we were working with them for repayment....i have another batch of token payments to send today for March and then first CCCS payment on 1st April which means it will be 25th April before the creditors get their first DMP reduced payment...does anyone knowif they are likely to take the defaults further if they have to wait till April for their first payment?

I hope everyone else is ok - MD dont worry about the post CCCS do have loads ..i think the only reason mine was done so quick was because i sent it recorded delivery and then followed it with a phone call once i knew it had been received.

    Enjoy your weekend....no post tomorrow:-)!!!!

Debt Free date March 2015 but would love to be there for OH's 40th in 2014.
  • Thanks Suze and MSC :A

, I know it's probably sitting in someone's 'intray' somewhere, it's just so frustrating:mad: I wish I'd posted recorded as you did MSC....still I'll give them another ring Mon pm.;)

Can I just confirm something regards defaults, is it better to be defaulted earlier rather than later, I understand that it stays on your file for 6 years, does this mean that if the creditors default at the start of my DMP, then it only shows on file for the first 6 yrs of DMP regardless of DMP carrying for another load of years after?!

    Don't really get it

LOL - that used to be my motto - I always used to wait in for the post on Saturday, then enjoyed the weekend knowing that nothing could get any worse until Monday :rotfl:

massivedebts - yes a default stays on your file for 6 years. As I understand it they will drop off regardless after 6 years even if your DMP is still running.

    Have a good weekend everyone

  • Hi MSC

I sent token payments on the 20th Jan (payday) and nothing since as my 1st CCCS payment went yesterday and I've nothing left to pay them. Some of my creditors want their payment by the 4th of each month etc so I was bit concerned that they could get a bit funny. I phoned the CCCS they said don't pay them anything outwith the CCCS payment and if they do phone between now and the 25th of March I just have to explain that the payment is with the CCCS and they should start to recieve funds around the 28th of each month from there on in. Touch wood no phone calls yet, but I'll just have to be strong and not give into them if they call. I can't see them taking things further as the creditors must already know that the CCCS distrubute payments at the end of the month and they've already acknowledged the fact that they're going to accept the reduced payments through the CCCS.

Good to hear everyone is doing so well with their DMP's... mine doesn't start unti 1st April so I've sent all of my creditors advising them of DMP and also enclosed token payments.

My landline is not plugged in but I keep getting calls from 08453003831 and 08445811014 on my mobile... apparently it's John Lewis and Halifax according to http://whocallsme.com/ I've not answered because they have my letters (sent recorded) so let them waste their time if they can't get their act together to tie all their departments together :D

I'm keeping my phone on silent so its not bothering me but I do feel tempted to answer them but refuse to answer the security questions to see how they react.

Apart from that today has been a 'no post day' YAY!!! :T

Hope everyone is still feeling positive!!!
