KG - I'm not sure either... someone else who has had their DMP up and running will be along later and they will be able to advise you...

Massivedebts - I'm projected to be here for 10 years! Any advance on that? lol

Just seconding what dlb said. We had the same problems some of our creditors also said they ; hadn't had any information from Payplan re our DMP ' We knew fine that they had, we had to ask Payplan to fax the information through to them again. I think sometimes there are so many people dealing with it on the creditors side, that it sometimes gets 'lost '. Eventually they had everything they needed, but it must have been several months before some of them stopped ringing. I think they liked the sound of my voice. ! lol :rotfl: It will settle down soon.

  • Hi all,

quick question: I am writing out my first letter to my creditors to let them know that I am contacting CCCS to set up a DMP. I am following the template letter which is fine. However, as my current account is also a creditor because of my overdraft, does my letter to my bank have to be slightly different - explaining that I am moving my salary to my new account and therefore offering a token payment towards my overdraft?

    Thanks.....x

  • Hi Jen
I have o/d with HSBC, I just sent them the same letter as my c/c's and loan's etc with the same token payment (£1 postal order). Not sure if that is right or not, but that is what I've done
Also haven't told them I'm moving salary etc

Jenevieve, I did exactly the same as MD and it seemed to work fine.
