Hi Ianmak, I have a long stretch ...can I have a number too!!...reduced rate of course, as its after 10pm!!!;)
Evening All,
I was unable to stop my payment going to my old account...pay day is tomorrow..so I'll be on the war path to withdraw as much as I can!!
Payplan have sent me my documents...:j
Q: They have actually included my OD at my old bank. This is correct as of now. But now as my pay goes in tomorrow, this will be removed!
The aim will then be to remove as much cash as I can and leave the account flat.
Will Payplan accept the amendment on the creditor’s sheet to zero or will they have to send new docs out.
HSBC would not open a new account for me unless I signed to close my others. So I applied online to the co-op.
As I have not got the account details yet...I cannot send my Payplan docs back.
So I'm not making much progress, but receiving countless calls and letters. Abbey want me to speak with them and the DMP advisors? Aegis on behalf of MBNA are on my case too.
Is there a letter that I can send advising them and the others of my payplan number and that they should contact them directly....or am I not permitted to send this until I have sent my signed docs back to PP first?
Thanks in advance guys..
Hope

Regards your OD, Are you drawing out enough money to put you at Zero? Otherwise, if you draw all of your salary out, to the balance you gave PP, then that will go on the DMP as it is a debt after all. It's entirely up to you I guess?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -

Thanks Ianmak...for the number.x
I am going to withdraw as much as I can to zero?...not sure what best to do...willl I still be able to access my od once I am in the dmp?0 -
Hi HopeTRMD
I think an od is considered to be a form of credit so using it wouldn't be allowed as part of the conditions of your DMP. I'm all a bit new to this myself, having only started my DMP this month so maybe someone with a bit more knowledge could clarify this?

I would use the overdraft up to stash away for emergency fund and put in on your DMP

Sorry not to have been on for a while, pooter been poorly  I'm due to send my first payment off to CCCS in April and I'm really excited!! I thought I'd be one of those who died of embarrassment about getting into this mess, but actually I've been telling all my friends and singing CCCS praises (sad I know) I just feel as though a huge weight has been lifted :jDMP mutual support thread member: 253
