you can only pay what you can afford, if it has gone down then they will change it.
or are you thinking along the lines that you HAVE to pay what you have already said you will pay? this is not true.
this is the start of your DMP things change plus you have a few months before your payments go out (not counting token payments)0 -
no i understand its only an agreement not a contract.
sorry im confusing everyone!
my point is we cancel our previous payments, then cccs agree we have £298 after bills etc to pay towards debts.
now losing tax credit equalling £318 a month so we will not have any spare cash to pay debts, cant just not pay them?
or do we token pay £1 until something changes?SAHM getting organised 2010.

oh so no money for debts.
Is there anything you can cut back on? get more work?
Doesn't CCCS require £100 min0 -
think so. i dont work am a stay at home mum,but my hubby works and earns £17000 a year so we dont get working tax credits any more after april.
i get £150 child tax credits and £80 child benifit and thats all.
hubby shifts are erratic so cant get a job and have him look after little un when i work and cant afford childcare even if i worked.
b****r springs to mind!SAHM getting organised 2010.

Hi Billybobberyl, have you tried calling CCCS? They have a free advice line, not sure if it is 24 hours but worth a try-0800 1381111. Am sure they will be able to talk through your options and set you on the right track again-there is always a way forward. Am new to all this so can't offer much help although some of the more knowledgeable may well be along later or tomorrow and have some good advice for you.Let us know how you get on, sending lots of cyber hugs xDMP Mutual Support Thread member no.2490

Hi billybobberyl, sorry I'm a bit of a div when it comes to tax credits. How are you losing so much money in tax credits, what's changed? Are there no other cutbacks to be made? You really need to speak to CCCS to discuss your options...DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

Will try and pop in tomorrow for a proper catch up folks, you've all been rather busy the last few days!
