Sadly the flat isn't tidy yet as we only got rid of a car load of recycling, still tripping over a car load for the charity shop and a car load of the ex-Mr. Fire Fox's stuff. Instead of sorting this I seriously hammered my debit card today!
Started well as Sainsburys grocery shop cost just £15 after the £5 Nectar vouchers were taken off :money: I think this brings my November grocery challenge to £79/ £100.
£3.50 on Encore cat food (25% off)
£1 on Green Home fabric conditioner
£1.30 on kitchen roll
£1.50 on own brand fruit and fibre
£1.20 on Basics beans
£2.40 on fifteen free-range eggs
£1.70 on two tubs of soft cheese
£1 on milk and plain yoghurt
£1.20 on cheese oatcakes
£1.60 on Basics grapes
£1 on Fairtrade bananas
£1 on Basics mushrooms.
Still need hard cheese but in theory that should last me two weeks, as I have sufficient meat and veg in the freezer and a ton of carbs in the cupboards. :T Got another 100 Nectar points from mine and mum's shopping, now have 786 points so looks like the points for my TV went through!
Also spent £12 on a leather purse for my cousin's Xmas present (brother will pay half), and £8 on lunch for me and mum (she usually pays). Then we popped into IKEA spending £50 ...
Two pasta plates and two cereal bowls £7.20
Small Teflon frying pan £15
Three fleece blankets £8.40
Curtain wire and clips £19
The plan is to steal Jellie's fab idea and use the blankets as curtaining. Now I am home, not sure I can't make it work with two sets of IKEAs cheaper system, which would have cost just £8. No running this evening as I have a sore throat and my friend has a leaking roof!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Hope you get it to work!!
Feeling any better?
I'll have to follow your lead with the tidying- being surrounded by boxes in several rooms is getting me down a bit!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hope you are feeling better - have been full of a cold all week :mad:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

Confession time ... £7 spent on travel on Friday for a fitness conference, then £5 on a taxi home from my friend's house on Saturday night. Managed our third run on Sunday, still thirty seven minutes but definitely jogged more than we walked! :j
Spending today: £7 on my prescription, £4 on hair colourant, £5 on fishy cat food (Feline Fayre reduced to 19p a pouch in Home Bargains). We are still wading through the many free samples of dry cat food, tho the last brand made Noah's doings!!
I continue to be the queen of vouchers despite my efforts to spend them all ... have £5 code off Zooplus, £10 code for the raw cat food site, £7 from Clubcard, £4.50 of extra Clubcard points, £5 conditional spend at Tesco every week until Christmas, AND should still be able to get £5 off Hills and £5 off Arovit! :money:
Trickery, trickery ... Weezl74 (of 'Eat Healthily on 50p per day' Old Style fame) has started a new diary on the MFW board AND LeeSouthEast (of 'spend nothing for a month challenge' fame) has started a new diary on the 'Budgeting and Bank Accounts' board! :T *subscribes*
This evening ordered six 35w GU10 energy saving lamps (xenon instead of halogen) from eBay for a bargainous £9 as I have loads of lights out and no spares!Have also requested a price for delivery of ten 30w MR16 energy saving lamps from another seller, but know it's going to be 'ouch'.

So it's £36 for ten Philips Masterline 30w lamps or £22.75 for ten Eveready 35W Energy Savers, but the former will last 5000 hours to the latters 2000 hours. The better bulbs will save me slightly more electricity, and the cost of replacing so often in the future so am going for it!
Home from the focus group which was quite enjoyable and received £60 cash for attending!Did spend spent £9 on rail fares and £16 in TK Maxx on a striped cushion cover and another Stellar kitchen knife.

Payday is here again  and it has to last five weeks ... luckily I still seem to have money left from last month. So far I have spent £36 on the Philips bulbs, £4.50 on a valerian cigar toy for Noah, £11 on a 'big mouth fish' feeder from Australia (!) and £12.50 on a rustling cat tunnel.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Hi Fire Fox... I just discovered your diary at about 1am this morning and have just finished it now!
