(not constant reading, I was also playing bingo and slept for 2 hours) You are an absolute inspiration... I was gripped with all your OS cooking, although I'd never cook any of those things myself it was great to read somebody does, and does it so well !!
I knew you'd split up from ex Mr FF but I ha no idea about the other bad times you've been through :grouphug: You sound so strong and positive :j
You really are F Fabulous :A
Enjoy payday... I can't believe you still have money left from last month  Brillint
ps.. I think you may well have the most spoilt cat ever!Thank you soooooo much: I can't believe you read it all!!
I worry my diary is kind of dull, tho definitely livened up recently by all my FABULOUS visitors. :A
I am still doing the frugal/ old style cooking, tho not recorded it of late. Trying to eat as much vegetarian food as possible to save money - lots of lentils, vegetables and eggs!! Now I have a decent hob, non-stick pans and utensils I actually enjoy cooking. Really need to get back into having porridge for breakfast as it's cheap, healthy, warming and yummy!
Noah is totally spoiled but he deserves it.Hopefully I will get good value for money from the expensive toys, and will eventually be able to rotate rather than keep buying new. I have an MSE plan up my sleeve as I have been squirreling egg boxes and the tubes from toilet rolls to make a kitty intelligence puzzle a la Blue Peter! Just need Petit Filous yoghurt pots, some hardboard, string and glue ...

Popped into Tesco to get some bits for my friends coming over tonight and ended up spending £46 plus £3 on taxi home!
Did manage to use one of the £5 conditional spend vouchers, and collected 475 Clubcard points. Expensive items were
Six bottles of wine £23 (various offers)
Mixed stir fry veg £2
Two blocks half fat cheddar £4
Two packs extra lean steak mince £5 (offer)
Two huge bags yellow sultanas £7Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
We've done a big shop in Tesco this weekend. Got home, unpacked it and wondered how we spent so much on so little!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Have you still got the receipt?I used to roughly tot up how much I spent on different categories - meat and junk food came out top by a mile so that is where I focus my efforts.
Inspired by Bowski's kind words I have made a massive vat of bolognese sauce: one pack of steak mince, Value onion, manky celery, grated carrot, Value mushrooms, 100g red lentils, jar of tomato sauce (Home Bargains), free Oxo stock paste, the dregs of the SIXTH bottle of wine from Friday night. Six to eight meals, more if I can source some cheap kidney beans to make chilli con carne.
Noah is currently eating an MSE mix of free and posh kibble, plus various 'wet' additions. Friday he had his first raw egg mixed with cat milk, which went down well and is very cheap. Getting low on raw meat, so need to order another £10 sample pack: I am finding his cat litter very economical - still on the first 15 litres! :TDeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Just spent my birthday money from my aunt: a Furminator cat comb from As Seen on TV for £8.50, and four toys from Purrsinourhearts shop for £16.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Here is a dilemma for you all .... just had an e-mail from a company I ordered from a month ago: apparently my debit card expired so they haven't charged me!! The card was in date when I used it, I have long since received the items, had a row with their slippery customer service team that was never resolved so I am not inclined to pay. What do you think - shall I wait and see if they write to me??Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
