I am electric-only Lula, which means SP are cheapest. To be fair I haven't quite paid off the debt from last winter as I get into credit just before they send a bill! Annoyingly SP is an 08 number and I have a mobile phone ... maybe there is something on 'Say no to 0870' which I always forget to use?

Spending for today should have been a second litter tray (Noah apparently prefers my coat) and Rosle temperature probe (payday treat), but instead was £10 on a Stellar bread knife and £4 on a Rosle balloon whisk from TK Maxx. The ex-Mr. Fire Fox has posted two £5 off a £30 spend vouchers, and I only have three bottles of wine left so .... Morrisons or Tesco at the weekend? :D

Tomorrow the £10 sample of raw cat food should be delivered, so I can't leave the house. No excuse not to
    - ring Coop to activate new debit card
    - ring A&L to replace lost debit card
    - ring Virgin/ BT to book landline installation
    - ring Scottish Power re: DD increase
    - place order with Maximuscle
    - place order for cat litter
    - book the wills appointment
    - tally up September and October on spreadsheet
    - do some laundry
    - do some cleaning.

Random plan of the day is to write my will during November as it is apparently Will Aid month, and really I should have written a will five years ago when I bought the flat. :o Bargain at £75 quid to SightSavers.

Hmmmm, have noticed that more & more businesses are using 08 numbers . I used to pay £8 a month to have free landline calls anytime, then found out that most of the day time calls I was making were to 08 numbers which didnt count as 'landline' numbers  Now I just have free calls to landlines at the weekend & usually get to sunday evening & then realise that I have rung anyone, again.

Oh by the way did you know that tomorrow is national kitty day :D & you should check this out : www.icanhascheezburger.com just for fun i love the remorseful pair ;)

If you have any assets it is a lot easier for your family to organise probate if there is a will: presumably you have life insurance so your mortgage would be paid off? From my POV I already own the flat outright and my parents are my next of kin - actually I'd prefer my brother or his future children to inherit as my parents are very comfortably off. :money:

    - do some cleaning.

I was quite pleased with all I have achieved today until I came back to look at my list. Have to wait two working days for Virgin to send out a spotter  as my postcode doesn't tally with their system, by which time the free installation offer will be over.

Placed an order with Zooplus for £29: 40 litres of cat litter and just enough food to get free delivery (5% cashback, 10% off first order) but the advertised 10% only showed up as 5% off ... story of my life. It's only £1.50 but it's my £1.50!

Also placed an order with Maximuscle for £54 (10% cashback, £5 discount code) and e-mailed to request the missing £6 credit is refunded to my card. Their customer care is even better than Amazon so should be no problem.

My aunt wants to come and meet Noah on Saturday so I need to clean tomorrow: probably means I will go to Morrisons for [STRIKE]wine[/STRIKE] groceries tomorrow when MSE is down for upgrades! :T

Just spent another £25 in the Purrs shop on a Da Bird, fur attachment, straights for the Turbo Track and a honeysuckle squirrel. So £35 spent on toys this and last month!

I'm thinking about something like thermal curtains too. The place we are in is a nightmare for heating- very open plan and very cold! Trying to think of ways of hanging fleeces or something over some of the doorways and windows without permanent rails etc as it is a rental property.
