Hi all, been kind of up and down and no spendthrift behaviour to report so not bothered updating. But I have had confirmation that the £23 refund from Pet Planet is being processed AND TV Licensing have already refunded £71 to my current account!

Been to Asda spending £30 which takes my Grocery Challenge to date to £90. :j Bought a dozen happy eggs, three blocks of cheese, whoopsied sausages, two fresh trout, Smartprice chicken wings and prawns for Noah, four bars of ES dark chocolate, two whoopsied cherry pies and some fruit and veg. Should last two weeks with what I already have in, may need squash and baked beans but they are cheap. Travelled both ways on the bus so saving a couple of quid on a taxi.

Decided to skin and freeze all the chicken wings this afternoon so they remain fresh. Noah was already moping around the food bowl, and when I opened the pack he was straight around my legs. Before the chicken wing even got to his bowl he was purring loudly and then devoured it!! :cool: I cannot believe it, he actually prefers raw chicken to stinky fishy cat food.

Can't believe Noah is on chicken wings and prawns! Sounds like he has a great diet!

The prawns are a treat as he used to love them at his foster home, the chicken wings an experiment! Disclaimer: the above does NOT constitute a balanced diet for cats and will only be fed alongside a 'complete' dry food.

I got carried away and spent my last GC £10 on a 3kg raw cat food sample pack, but it's refundable against your first order: I will have more food for Noah than me! :rotfl:

Hmmm, dont you dare tell Jed, he'll be most put out :rolleyes: I did treat him to a bit of mince while I was batch cooking though & his reaction was pretty much the same as Noahs re the fish & wings.

NB - Jed is a cat & not a boyfriend I wouldnt waste good food on one of them , although I did once make a fabulous whiskas Shepherds pie for one ...

Not much to report! Went to my friends last night and she gave me a massive pack of Nouvelle toilet roll that is on offer in the Coop, so I now have several months supply. Just discovered that I missed the £5 Morrisons voucher in today's NOTW so texted ex-Mr. Fire Fox and he is going to post it to me. :T
