I'm fine when I can pretend it isn't happening, but right now I really miss him and I feel very alone. I'm also quite overwhelmed by how much I have let things slide around the flat since I was ill last winter.

Noah is adorable. Was texting the ex-Mr. Fire Fox last night, he said he misses me lots, practically admitted he still loves me, but thinks it would go back to the way it was if we were together.

In the middle of wrangling with PetPlanet who forgot to send me out a free storage tin with my £85 order, then sent a badly damaged one (carrier's fault), now refusing to send me a replacement. I'm not 100% sure of my legal rights but feel they haven't completed the order as I did specifically order a large bag of food to get the tin.

I'm glad Noah progressed to the sofa with you. Is he up for cuddles?
I'm not sure of your rights regarding the tin but it is a bit out of order. Not good for encouraging you to use them again!

Noah has now progressed from the sofa to the rest of the flat! Yes lots of although he is still very skittish. Need to stop being so lazy and get the electric underblanket out from storage, then he might decide to sleep with me tonight ...

I will most definitely not be using Pet Planet again, it might only be a freebie but it's the principle and I am not quitting! The e-mail I have received is claiming they sent the damaged bin as a 'goodwill gesture' which is rubbish as it's advertised all over the website. :rolleyes:

so glad that Noah is now fully friendly. As to the damaged tin; you should get a replacment from the the pet place, it is then up to them to claim from the carrier. Alternatively, you could contact the carriers direct & complain to them.

Te he: somewhere between 8.45am when PP sent another snotty e-mail and 9.45am when PP rang to apologise, my guess is they have seen my post either here or on Purrsinourhearts. The nice lady said she was "disgusted" with her member of staff, readily agreed to take back the dry food AND supply a replacement bin which is more than I initially expected! The power of the people's press ... :cool:
