Incapacity Assessment

Some of the 'accusations' on here are a load of old cobblers.
I wouldn't dream of questioning someone's health, even with the facts.
I don't know what it's like to have Irritable Bowels Syndrome for example, so I couldn't even guess what it's like. Unless you have something, you can't begin to know what it's like, and even if you did, there are varying degrees of every 'illness'.
To some people, if it's not visible, you manage to smile sometimes, and even manage to enjoy yourself once in while, then you are okay which is wrong.
I believe in Karma though, so anybody who doubts anybody, is likely to pick up an illness later in life, and nobody will understand and will show ignorance towards it.
So the best thing is to worry about your own life and not anybody elses, because people don't always know the facts, and prefer to live in their own fantasy world, where they always know best.
Good Luck to anyone here who has a medical anytime soon :j0 -
DO you really believe doctors are that naive that they write sick notes willy nilly to anybody.
My last word as this is meant to be a HELP forum

My last post was aimed at anyone who doubts anyone, not anyone who is unwell

Have they given you any idea how long you'll have to wait for the outcome Miroslav?0
-
They didn't say, but i've been told by my Jobcentre advisor, usually within 2 weeks0

At least you haven't got to worry too long hopefully then. Why can they not make a decision sooner? I can't understand these places if they have the facts there in front of them and the interviewee surely they could make a decision quicker. All part of the mindgames they play I suppose...hope you get the help you need anyway I know what its like to have to jump thru hoops for it!0

I'm not hopeful to be honest, but I have people willing to help me appeal (Job Centre advisor, CPN, College Outreach Worker). I just don't agree with one bloke who has never met me, judging me on 20 minutes.
Silly system, which isn't going to get any better.
I thought I had a reply this morning as a DWP letter came through, but it was for my flatmate, which worries me now, as she's been on Incapacity for a while, and there is no other need for her to get a letter. She had an assessment about 18 months ago, and the letter after said she won't need to be seen again until 20090 -

You should take no notice of idiots like him. Reading his posts, he seems to live in some scuzzy sink estate where everyone is blagging, robbing and assaulting everyone else. If he lives among the lowest of the low, that's probably because that's his spiritual home. Regrettably much of Britain has sunk to this level and we should be grateful if we still live in a civilised part of the country.0
