I can't think of anything
I have:
self raising flour
vegetable oil
sugar
bicarb
baking soda
chapati flour (not sure if this can be used as a substitute)
1 tub of toffee muller light
about 2 ounces of muesli
some honey
lemon juice
2 manky oranges
some Ready Brek (in case it can be used as an oats type substitute)
semolina
about 1/2 pint milk
dried cherries
I don't have eggs and I don't have butter. I also don't have anything chocolate related (sob!!!) or any other fruit (ie bananas)
A challenge for you!!!!! i've give myself a tough budget this month and i'm determined not to shop until I really need to but I feel the need to cook"Stay Wonky":D

You could try mixing the muesli with the honey a handfull of oats and the sugar to make a basic flap jack.
freeze the yogurt to make an ice cream type dessert,
or mix the muesli, oats and honey and sugar. warm up in the microwave and sprinkle with cherrys and a dollop of the yoghurt ice cream.
hope that help
kind regards

How about cherry muffins? using the milk and the oil?
Or make flapjacks using the cherries and museli, sugar and honey??
Think thriftlady should be able to help on an egg free pudworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
the lemon cake wins hands down!!!! That should satisfy my 'urge' to cook.
The idea of flapjack also sounds great.....problem is though if I use the ingredients I won't have any breakfast stuff - well, other than flapjacks!!!!!
cheers gang!"Stay Wonky":D

Hello,
I'm cooking for 6 on Sunday and I'm a bit stuck for a dessert I have a lot of recipe books (Delia, Nigella, Jamie, and many more) but I'm uninspired... or spoilt for choice! I don't mind something a little bit involved (main course will be two big lasagnes, one veggie, one not) but one I could prepare in advance might also help my timing
I'd do a tiramisu, but I find them a bit hit-and-miss - I'm much happier making a cake, but I'm not sure I know one special enough. (But at the same time... not excessively special... black forest gateau might be a bit much ) Also willing to consider a pudding - but I haven't tried many
It doesn't have to be Italian, traditional English would probably go down just as well... something everyone could just help themselves to would be great, as I HOPE everyone will be feeling pretty stuffed by then :j
Does anyone have any bright ideas with a touch of wow-factor?
