Tiff I am soo very sorry for your loss. (((((HUGGLE))))
I have just read your story. I think that nurse was bang out of order, and your well within your rights to complain.
And hun, you are NEVER alone. I am here if you ever need to talk, or just a shoulder to lean on. And I am sure others would say the same.
Tiff thinking of you and your family at this time
You are not alone

Oh, and another hour and half of Robert Redford...
I think I watched this film when i was littler, and it made me cry , kinda gives you strength i think. More often than most, strength comes from within, we just have to find it.
Hope your well tonight

Hi all
sometimes posts are removed from this thread because they mention medication, treatments, advice which may not be suitable for all etc
if such a post is quoted then that post will go too (we don't edit posts)
a pm to myself or Sue is better for everyone than posting issues on the thread
this thread isn't about moneysaving, which is why it was started a long time ago in the Arms, but I moved it here where it attracts less unwanted attention and mainly you are left in peace
please don't make an issue out of a few deleted posts, losing your thread, or even having it moved back to the Arms isn't worth it
just remember that most people here are suffering some sort of depressive illness and may not be as welcoming, helpful, nice as you think they should be all of the time, stick with it and you will find this thread a wonderful support,
all posters are nice most of the time but everyone has an off day occasionally! even me
take care of yourselves

Tiff, I just want to say how deeply sorry I am for you, and that you're in my thoughts. Your mum was obviously a wonderful person and you gave her the best life ever. Sending you big (((HUGS))) your way, and you take care of yourself. xxxBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi all, I have been reading this thread for a while now, just didn't have the nerve to post. I was looking for some advice but not sure if it's allowed. If i can explain my situation i would be grateful for other posters solutions. I have lived with depression for about 10 years, (probably longer). I have been off medication for over a year now, but in the last few months i have gradually been feeling more down and know i should probably be going back to the doctor's. The problem is when i was on ad's i felt like a zombie, detached and couldn't function properly. They also made me feel suicidal, which i hadn't experienced before. I can't afford to go on the sick as they only pay ssp and i can't afford to give up my job. I would appreciate any opinions on this as i don't know what i can do.0

Hello Jax66. Please go back to your doctor. Ive been in this situation before too and you don't always realise quite how bad you are. Its only when you are feeling better and look back that you can see just how low you had got. Not all medication will make you feel like a zombie. The first AD's I took made me woolly headed and forgetful (really affected my memory!) and made me feel as though I was walking around in a fog. However, at the time I didn't care because I felt so awful and these were the first things that had helped me. However, the AD's I have now keep me on track without any of the woolly headedness (is that a word? ).
Tell your doctor what you have told us and he can advise the best course of action, whether its different AD's or an alternative therapy. Let us know how you get on.0
