I must say that I agree with your post 377, Tiff. You put into words what I was thinking myself. AB's post referring to his forum made me a little nervous too. You simply cannot medicate over the internet and nor should you try.

Happy new year everyone!:T I hope 2009 is a good year for all us peeps.

Hubby has spent a lot of time on the phone to Royal Mail customer services today. They lost a little parcel I sent in October with perfume in it and are saying they won't compensate because it is prohibited to send perfume through the post (anything in fact with 70% or more alcohol in it - did you know that?) We argued that the people in the post office took our money and didn't query what it was! Anyway, I think we may be getting our money back - just got to send another form through with all the details on. Fingers crossed!

I was wondering about these perfume websites that sell perfume and send via Royal Mail? Funny how the post office don't make it well known about perfumes though.

Im so glad I didn't have to ring up myself because I think I would have got irate and upset. Why do they make these things so difficult?

Forgive me, people, but I'm going to ask abuse to take a look at a few recent posts to decide which side of the Medical Advice / Advertising line they fall, so if they disappear, that'll be why. It'll have to be more than one post, because there's no point leaving quotes from a post that's gone. If you could just keep moving along, that would be helpful.

  • Good call Savvy, it was just beginning to feel a little tense round here.

Anyone got anything to make us all smile again?
