I hope we're all as well as can be this morning peeps.
As Thread Cat, (don't ask!), I want to start of course by issuing a warm to our newest clan members ruggedtoast (toast) and pillypilla (pilla). You're both more than welcome here and it was great of you both to post, so thank you for that. You'll find a whole host of guardian angels on this thread, all with a wealth of experience, kind hearts and a wide knowledge of resources available -

Sorry you drew the short straw folks, but as soon as the others are [strike]sober[/strike], *cough*, erm, back from church, I know they'll welcome you with open arms too. Don't worry guys - I do know that I'm not a cat.

Well, you can tell already what kind of mood I'm in - I seem to have woken up in a ''scatty kitty'' kind of mood,, so all bets are off as to what kind of Tiffing you'll all get today!:eek:

I've got so much to do, it's unreal. I haven't even written my Christmas list yet. Not that I usually get what I want - but I live in hope.
Maybe I'll make a start here...

Right I'm orff shortly, I'm getting ready to go into battle in town for the purchase of Mum's gift and a couple of others (it's late for me, I'm normally well ahead sorting pressies although it's been a little up and down rcently at Tiff Towers - and so say all of us!), and for vittles for the holiday too.
Gas and electric might also be a good idea!

It's going to be tough out there guys, - it'll be every Tiff for herself!

I really liked Pan's Labyrinth (and cried!), it was very original and surreal, but for me, it has to be the other Labyrinth, with David Bowie ("you remind me of the babe........."etc, I know all the words!). My best movie of all time.
Yeah, I'm no fan of Xmas so I'm working it this year (I'm a nurse), I've always preferred New Year. Something to do with having a family that make the Simpsons appear normal probably..............

Wow, thanks everyone for giving me such an amazingly warm welcome.....not! God, if you're all just some sort of clique like those snooty girls at school,(newcomers not welcome!) then I'm off, I'm clearly not missing much here! To not even acknowledge someone, or just say "Hi" after they've stated they're new.....may aswell be invisable. Nevermind.......I'll live.
