Windows update (if selected) WILL be automatic
But service packs are hugh updates (Take like 45 mins approx), and it could easily be that its been trying to install for ages but failing
Goto the actual windows update page and slect it from there and leave it to do its stuff
As for the slave drive. Possible but unlikely.:idea:0
