I've tried the Somerfields and Kwik Saves in Sheffield to no avail. Tried Buxton after 4richa4pora's lead a couple of days ago but they'd also sold out.

managed to get one in Royston Kwikie this morning - you have to aske for them as they are locked up. Cheers - no more driving whilst trying to read to map!
Ithink that was Barnsley not Herts, they also had one in Kwiksave Huddersfield last Friday, give them a call before you travel, phone numbers on website.ac's lovechild0 -

Does anyone else have problems with the garmin not finding satellites. bought one in plymouth and lost satellites once I'd crossed into cornwall. Didn't find them again till i was on the M5 going back north. Is this a teething problem? It also lost them on the way to bristol airport, about 2 miles from the airport. Would hate to have to take it back, but if it loses reception in the countryside i can't see what use it is...0

bushcaro, I have just been to Somerfields in Camden and they have 'several' according to the store manager. I picked one up, but you have to ask as they are not advertised at all and not displayed anywhere.0

Theres no reason for it to drop the signal in the country. The signal comes from space so as long as it has line of sight to the sky it should lock on.
What sort of car is it you are driving?
