Hi, can anyone tell me how I find out which firmware I am running on a Medion PDA?. Thanks.0

Got a Micromaxx one yesterday from the Whitley Bay store after much prolonged begging and grovelling on my part to persuade Mrs Shaboo.
I've lusted after a Windows-based PDA for ages and to get one with GPS for this price really is a bargain.
I've really had to balance/juggle a few things around to afford this but one of the things that ultimately swayed it was this leaflet I had lying around from when my Kwiksave first stocked the Micromaxx back in September last year:
So an even bigger saving it seems!
Unfortunately I also had to agree that I can't have it until my birthday in March
because it's my Birthday present
..... and Christmas present
..... and next year's Birthday present
Cheers,

Errr...there aren't THAT many roads built in this country every year!!! Only one or two significant ones at most and more usually NONE.
The biggest problem with map accuracy is in large towns and cities, as the local authorities don't provide up-to-date information relating to the direction of one-way streets.
TomTom is hopeless in Glasgow because of this and I suspect Navigon will be as well.
SatNav software is only as good as the source data supplied by the two mapping companies that SatNav software companies use, so it isn't really TomTom/Navigon/Garmin/etc etc's fault if the odd new road isn't there.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
It was a joke, I will add one of these  next time so that people 'get it' but thanks for the info anywayThe early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0
