    Refer a friend terms: http://www.personal.barclays.co.uk/PFS/A/Content/Files/referafriend.pdf

Even though the referral terms make provision for the accounts you can get £100 for, there appears to be a snag:
    • the £100 can only be had when opening an account online
    • the referral form is to be brought with you to the Branch when you open the account

Perhaps Mrs Boz could call Barclays and clarify whether she can refer someone opening an account online?

    question:

with all those offers flourishing, how opening, closing current accounts affect your credit score?

we are saving for a mortgage you see...

Very good question, I'd love to know the answer as well.
  • Hi guys,

Just a quick note to let you know we've been looking into this for a few days, and will be putting an official note up soon.

Still checking out the refer a freind scheme, but the basic £100 offer is available for simply depositing £1000 for 2 consecutive months, no salary switch required.

    Good one eh?!

Just finished applying now :) On the Equifax questions page at the end did anyone else find that 1 answer was obviously correct and the other 3 unknown names?

    Nice spot anyway :)

Thanks for posting this thread - I've just applied online (think I got one of the Equifax questions wrong though - doh!) Hope that doesn't ruin my chances!!

I've already told my mum about this and she's going to apply too, and will be forcing/suggesting my boyfriend signs up as well!

    Thanks again x

I'm looking at this deal as well. Please could someone explain the 'Equifax questions at the end' statement. What's all that about?
