I wonder if all the people who have said that it is 'dishonest and fraudulent have ever taken a pen home from their work or made a few private phone calls? Of course not!!!!!!!!!!!0

I can't believe all the 'oh no I wouldn't do that' replies. I'd be grateful to pay the fiver and go. If you can't live with your conscience (!!!) you could always pop a tenner in a charity box.:j0

Yeah i would, why not???
They make plenty of money, its stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.
and everyone who said "no, i'd report him" shame on you. Shame on you.
And to be fair it is entrepreneurial, im sure most entrepreneurs at some point before making it big "begged, borrowed and stealed" thats a quote most of em use!0 -

You're sinking to the level of so many third world states, where dishonesty is so much the norm, that the economy cant work properly. Its a slippery slope. We are all in this together, even our smallest dishonest action, encourages others to believe that it is normal. And dishonesty spreads.
I have a smaller income than almost anyone else on here, and I would'nt lower myself. There is no question about it ,It is wrong!!0 -
No because I would worry that i'd come back to a ticketed or clamped car and i'd have no comeback. It's not exactly the same but I remember on an episode of 'The Real Hustle' someone posed as a car park attendant and just took the money from people and ran!0

I have a car park and employ attendants to collect a (reasonable) parking charge. The attendants know that if they did pocket some money that rightfully belongs to the company, then they would be found out on the first day, because a customer would come and report it to me.
To all those who comment that £14 is way too high, how many of you know what costs are involved to the car park owner? (rhetorical)0 -
I wouldn't trust it - there are so many dodgy car park practices here in my part of the US that I would wonder what the catch is (think Ferris Bueller's Day Off)...I've done something similar with an internet caf! I always frequent though - one of the cooks/bartenders who works there gave me and my hubby a few free drinks, two salads but only charged us for one salad and gave us his 50% staff discount. I paid it but left a 50% tip that went to the waitstaff, because they work for less than minimum wage. I've only done that once, though, but the owner himself didn't actually mind
