But haven't you just described the world's bankers?!! How can you call this case fraud when banks are wheeler dealing taxpayers money down the swanney to fund their 'performance' bonuses??Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

I would pay the £5 and save myself £9. The fact that it is theft, fraud or whatever you want to call it would not enter my head. I like SAVING MONEY!!!0

‘This is the slippery slope that will take us all down to third world standards of living.
We already have quite enough morally dubious scenarios linked to the infernal combustion engine.
If you cannot afford the charges use your push bike - probably quicker and healthier.’
And
‘I've lived in Tanzania and Kenya, and the slippery slope of corruption is horrific- creating a culture of greed, and adversely affecting the poorest people most.’
We are headed straight for third world standards of living, our country is run on corruption and the poorest people are the most affected. By the time our beloved leaders have finished, so all of us will be too!!Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

Not so much the moral high ground, more I hate being ripped off. I wouldn't pay £14 to park up anyway so I wouldn't put myself in that position. It is invariably cheaper to use public transport to travel to somewhere that charges such extortionate rates to park.Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

Only if I was willing to pay the penalty if caught. Self-evident fraud is evidently fraudulous so £14 might be the lesser charge.0

Interesting views on this thread - I love moral dilemmas.
Some people think it is okay to steal from the big company as they can afford it (allegedly) but if it is a small business then, no way, got to support the little man.
Whatever you want to call it, it is still fraud.
Which seems to gets lots of people into lots of trouble.
And I still wouldn't do it.0 -
After being ripped off recently by a bloated car park company, too right I'd take this offer.
Can't believe some of the "holier than thou's" on here, especially the creeps who say they'd go off, no doubt brimming with self righteous importance, and report him. Bet some of those were the snotty nosed kids at school with no friends, who would go running off to teacher at the least chance of telling on other kids.0 -
Pay the attendant. The car parks at hospitals con everyone so it would be a little payback:eek: sprouts0
