DS is safely home and perfectly fine if a little pale. Can't remember a thing. His chin doesn't hurt and has no dressing on, he won't need to see a nurse but will get a follow up appoitment at the hospital in 6 weeks. He doesn't want to go to school this week as the lump is going to swell before it diminishes. I'll certainly keep him off tomorrow but I'm not sure about the whole week.
Thanks again for all your kind thoughts.
Ds2 home to find he was the only one who had to go to school -bit disgruntled:rolleyes:0 -

Yes Kathy I certainly am, and I've calmed down since this mornings rantthe bedroom is cleaned, sheets boiled and hung out for a couple of hours, now on the radiators. So I am getting back on track.

Evening Everyone
Its been one of those days today when you run round like a headless chicken and never get anywhere. My yd (5) has been poorly all weekend with the vomiting virus. The poor petal has been led on the sofa under a duvet since Thursday night and only began to buck up yesterday. She's run me ragged today though so I think its back to school tomorrow:rolleyes:
Not managed to get anything much OS done today as I've been constantly at my yd beck and call.Did manage to get some bread done and a couple of loads of washing.
Taplady (((((hugs))))
Thriftlady- Glad you and your son got through today

Evening all :hello: We are having a bit of a last one in the pack use up week - pork steaks, chicken breasts etc seem to come in fours and there are three here.. so, it's who wants what for tea this week! Luckily, I can do pork/chicken sweet & sour etc, so it's not too bad.
Thanks to RR for making me remember to make *that* appointment.. Glad it's over for you.
Did a load of document shredding last night, got up today to find I didn't tie the bin bag properly and the cats have had a shredded paper party  Perhaps it's the feline equivalent of an Ibiza foam party..
Bargainbird - Abbarella sounds fab!
Special hugs to Thriftlady and her DS, it's a worry isn't it? My DD2 suffered badly (from comments at school  ) with facial warts, the doctor was reluctant to freeze them as they feared scarring, they went away eventually but the teasing hurt her quite badly. I am so glad that your DS will get back to school after the holidays with the problem treated.
*Hugs* for all that need them x0 -
I know its a bit uncomfortable, and a bit embarassing, but ladies, lets all make sure we all say yes, much better than no presents from Santa
xx
Good thinking Ruby.
Taplady - Sorry to hear of Lesley's passing
Thriftlady - So happy that all went well with DS1's op.
I've just been speed reading the threads the last few days. Thanks Ruby for asking where I was. :A. The heat here was dreadful last week, I had some sort of queasy bug & DGS the whole week to boot. The combination of three took their toll. I usually post at (my) night and I was generally in bed at 7.30pm.Feel heaps better this week, not as hot, but I do have DGS until Sunday so that's keeping me on the straight and narrow.
Off to shopping this morning. Made a lasagne last night so enough for leftovers tonight. :T Off to hang out some washing. Hope you all get a good nights sleep. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
