AnW'sMum sending you a big kiss - I've wrapped all the kids pressies (well that is all the ones I've got as not finished), just ran out of wrap at the end too so need some more.

Garden will have to be missed as neighbour is popping in for a cuppa after school run - actually I'll see if I can get DS1 to do it - only collecting leaves.

Monday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
All done, including wiping down the doors and skirting boards!
    Extras -
    Tuesday - no laughing.. KITCHEN!!
Gave my kitchen a good once-over on Sunday when I was listening to the Archers omnibus, so it just needs to be kept tidy and wiped. I might just confuse everybody though and swap the cutlery drawer contents over with the drawer which has all my cooking utensils in :D
    Extras
    1. Clean filters and drawers and door seals
    2. HHI
    My list for today, plus
    1. Do some baking with DD2 (didn't get round to it yesterday - ran out of time!). I've run out of things for lunchboxes (mainly because I have a greedy family who will eat all the goodies within a couple of days, no matter how many things I get in )
    2. Buy bus ticket for DH
    3. Collect Child Benefit and do a bit of shopping (no pasta, rice or tinned tomatoes in - need to go to Tesco for those really as prices at the local supermarket are pretty scary on those things but not going to 'the big city' until Friday)
    4. WMx4
    5. TD x 4 on second load
    6. Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..Doing that on Friday when DH is having the day off to come with me.
    7. Post all the cards you need to post Finished writing them - posting them today
    8. Finish wrapping all the presents
    9. Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!! No idea what we're going to have - except loads and loads of roast potatoes :rotfl:Think I might start peeling and parboiling some of them this evening ready to freeze
    10. [STRIKE]Sew some more badges on DS's cubs uniform [/STRIKE]
Just going to get DD2 to put her clothes back on, then off to the Post Office and supermarket - can get three done off this list.

Kitchen slopped over.. cupboards clened extermally and a couple internally.. I need to have a whole cleaning sesh in there dragging the contents out of EVERY cupboard and dealing with soot. My coughing is so much better than it was.. I do need a shower and hair washed though and some rather helpful and wonderful friendy pop has offered to feed my marauding horde ** and I am out for dinner at 8pm...

    My sink is clean
My mother put me some wahsing in
I've done 3 lots of sooty pot through the DW. and wiped half the work surface.. not the bit that is being replaced..

And.. the inspector dude is coming round in the morning to check out what HAS to be replaced etc.. I'm certain the cupboard door needs to be replaced and the length of work surface.. 3m length and MAYBE the unit.. the walls and ceiling need repainting and the extractor is filthy.. soot and steel do NOT mix well! The cooker is just going to HAVE to be replaced.. the doors are warped from the heat, the elements are broken and the fan in the oven and the gas pipe is melted through.. we were SO lucky that did not become a gas explosion.. a few more minutes I'd have been a goner!!! It was very close!

AND.. they don't know if they can get me a new cooker before christmas in which case they'd give me the cash to buy one ASAP... fingers crossed!!!

  • Afternoon, everyone.

Pigpen - hope you are still drinking plenty and that Op Clean-up is going OK.

Mudbath - I'm glad to hear you're doing so well after your op, but take it really easy. The tiredness would be likely after a GA, but that's big surgery too!

Toots - Yes, I'm being a good fairy and resting lots. I've done my daily stuff like the washing machine, tumble dryer, emptied dishwasher, fed menagerie, SS's kitchen and bathrooms.

I've also done HHC in the spare room. I found some very thin wool that's quite tangled, so am going to put it in the textile recycling. I also shredded some paper. :o The room is gradually emptying, which means we can get on with decorating it in the New Year.

I've also done an online shop for Sainsburys for Saturday afternoon. I was amazed they still had a slot left and it will save me carrying stuff when I'm not 100%, although I have another list for some bits from Lidl, but I'll drag someone with me to get that.

DS made me a nice tuna sandwich for lunch, so I'm still finishing that, then off to do a "leetle" bit more in the spare room.
Conjunctivitis - check here. http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/eye/conjunctivitis.html. Hope it helps.

    See you later. x

Not sure what I did to deserve a kiss but thanks anyway :D I am 95% there, got all A & W's pressies done, just a few more for nieces to do which I don't mind the kids seeing. Will be wrapping Dad's pressie to mum either later today or tomorrow.

My mate called in so had a good catch up and dished out their pressies so Operation Dispersal is now under way as well :rotfl::T

School run now, catcy you all later.
