Done about half the walls with emulsion now, started putting it on and immediately thought i didnt like it:eek: However i persevered and it looks better now:D Think it actually just looked horrible on top of the colour that was there already (yellow). The colour i'm doing is actually very similar to the colour of the text box i am writing in now. Just having a cuppa and a piece of millionaire shortbread while the first coat dries.

:hello: What have I missed? Haven't done much at all today, I'm blaming the hormones from AF

Took DS to the doctors though as a rash appeared on his face. Apparently when he was sick yesterday he was so sick that he burst lots of blood vessels on his face. Doctor said there was nothing to worry about and he can go to school tomorrow. He also said that DS had made his day, his Christmas even because you don't get to see that very often and if there were students or any other doctors around he would have liked to have shown them. So we were in and out in about 2 minutes :rotfl: DS wasn't impressed though as "the doctor made me smile and I didn't want to" :rotfl: I also took a photo of it which I think I might send to BIL who's just graduated to become a doctor.

Anyway still got hundreds of things to do and no enthusiasm. My kitchen smells of sick as I left some food on stanley overnight which just heated it all night and it reeks. Chucked it in the bin and put the pan to soak but still icky

well I have done one thing of my list...

I have done my Powerpoint exam for my ECDL ...YES!!!!!!! thank goodness thats passed I can get on with Christmas now. I know I have lost 3 marks as there were 2 questions that I just couldnt get right but hopefully have done enough to get a pass mark ...need 75% ....should know by Friday before they shut for the hols!! Thanks for the good wishes AnW's Mum and Lady L - i am sure they helped!!!

iriedaughter hope you all start to feel better soon and get it under control - take it easy.

serena glad to hear Mum is doing ok - it will be far nicer for her if she gets back to more familair surroundings and may help her recovery. Its good to know the home were being cautious.

justamum hugs for DD1 - hopefully AF will have left by christmas and not spoil it for her. I have also just swapped the cutlery drawer around with the utensil drwaer - hope it works!

lil_me its lovely to hear that Matthew had so much fun with you and wants to go out again - and that your boys love him so much - the nursery would run off some of his energy and give his mam a break. Hope you get your studying sorted out.

pigpen that doesnt bear thinking about ...what might have happened:eek: :eek: you had better just forget it and concentrate in the nice sparkly clean kitchen you will have when it has been re-decorated. You would probably ve able to go and get a cooker locally before Christmas.
Ok what happened at school - are they going to burn the wee witch at the stake!!

It is slightly cleaner!!.. externally.. but I still need to gut most of the cupboards.. my 3 drawers are done and some of the small appliances.

Pigpen - how awful. I hope you are all genuinely ok - recovered from shock and everything else, especially poor DS2. Just wish I was closer so I could help clean up at least.

Just back from work, so far have put the DW on, had a crisp sandwich and made a cup of coffee. Really must get on with something tonight before we run out of clothes - need to S&S kitchen, fill DW, hoover downstairs, S&S bathroom as a minimum plus I need to do some prep for work tomorrow. I did iron everything on Sunday night though so no more ironing till after New Years day!
