All done with the painting for the moment, everywhere on the kitchen side (it is open plan) is done with 2 coats. Not doing the LR side til after hubby has moved the sockets tonight as i dont want him cutting dirty great holes in my newly painted wall:eek:
Colour has definately grown on me thank goodness. Just going to have a tidy up before i go and get LO from the after school club. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Pigpen, without being ignorant as to what you have discussed with the assessors etc and not knowing what damage has been done, my friend had a chip pan fire which just caught the wall and the ceiling, they replaced the whole kitchen because of smoke damage, plus contents of cupboards. New for old should give the replacement cost for a new one or replace it directly some do now, they have selected suppliers. Policies not new for old would replace like that then deduct for wear and tear usually.
Gryfon ((hugs)) for your little DS, my boys do that all the time
Happy birthday MSD
toots well done
TAG thanks for letting me know, mainly trying to make sure there is none stuck in the sorting office!
Spoke to lady who runs toddlers, can take him on a Wednesday after xmas, is a waiting list but if it's just for one day and because it's meso will start taking him in January when I can, some weeks I can't due to meetings. I will need to dash over, pick up then get back after school run (starts 9.30am) but it'll be worth it I think.
Neice & nephews presents wrapped, my first wrappings, taking them over to Mam after work so she can take them over for me to sisters house. Will put some money in a card too I think.
Tonight for me includes DS2 to beavers, feed DS1, pick DS2 up and go over to meet Mam, get few bits I need from shop (delaying big shop as much as possible) come back home, tidy kitchen, fill DW, wipe kitchen over, washer load on airers, another washer load in, DS2 try on party clothes I got today, make DS2 packed lunch, more card sorting, make DP and I something for dinner for when he gets back from meeting (going to see what I have in the freezer in a mo) clear LR floor so can vacuum first thing tomorrow, erm, think that might cover it.One day I might be more organised...........

I have done both, depending on what it was with.
Well done with the ECDL!:T
Diva - Happy Birthday!
Work colleague just been to collect some papers and again she has not asked for help from Head Office! She also said she thought the puppies had caused my problems as I was .like this for several weeks last time. I reminded her that last time I was only off for one week, didn't have puppies then, didn't have puppies when this started and don't have animal allergies or intolerances! I also reminded her that, as I had my allergy testing carried out by none other than Professor Brostoff (top of the UK tree), I thought it would probably be accurate. Do I sound stressed?
Anyway, I think it's going to be Fish and chips, done in the oven so no effort, as I'm very tired, but I'm planning to do some ironing after dinner. DS has taken over the kitchen duties for me. :A
And wonder of wonders, DS's GF has succumbed to pressure and arranged a solicitor's appointment for Monday to sort out issues for GF's education! :T It took us to start the ball rolling, but at least she's moving herself.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
