Having coffee here too - I keep losing connection, which is really irritating...I was doodling around the organised home website, just browsing, as I think that's the on that lil_me mentions.

I want to do the rest of the ground floor in aminute, but it's grey and chilly and I lack enthusiasm.

I also want to go downtown and finish the last bits of shopping - I was hoping that DD would come with me, as she doesn't have any lessons, but she's gone with BF instead (obviously more interesting company!). I also have to take DS2's new phone in for a new screen - somehow got damaged at school. He's only had it a couple of months, and guess who thought it wasn't necessary to take the accidental damage insurance??:o

pigpen - I hope the kettle still works.:D
Seriously, I am really sorry about your kitchen - as if there isn't enough to do anyway before Christmas. Hugs if you want one, or virtual stiff drink if you prefer!

It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Thanks lil_me. So much to learn. Off to google now.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Serena have you got a bank account with the whistles and bangs on? Some of them have mobile insurance as part of the deal. I know with one of the accounts once the phone has been registered for 15 days you can claim ;)

    3. Finish wrapping all the presents

    Tuesday - no laughing.. KITCHEN!!
Gave my kitchen a good once-over on Sunday when I was listening to the Archers omnibus, so it just needs to be kept tidy and wiped. I might just confuse everybody though and swap the cutlery drawer contents over with the drawer which has all my cooking utensils in :D
    Extras
    1. Clean filters and drawers and door seals
    2. HHI
    My list for today, plus
    1. Do some baking with DD2 (didn't get round to it yesterday - ran out of time!). I've run out of things for lunchboxes (mainly because I have a greedy family who will eat all the goodies within a couple of days, no matter how many things I get in )
    2. Buy bus ticket for DH
    3. Collect Child Benefit and do a bit of shopping (no pasta, rice or tinned tomatoes in - need to go to Tesco for those really as prices at the local supermarket are pretty scary on those things but not going to 'the big city' until Friday)
    4. [strike]WMx4 [/strike]
    5. [strike]TD x 4[/strike] on second load
Just had some noodles and am now sharing a bowl of dried fruit with LO. There's no point going out until after Doctors now as the Post Office is shut until 1.30 so I don't have to try and force LO into her clothes until then  She's running around starkers atm
