    OMG Pigpen,

Thats one hell'uva way to see men in firemens uniforms (any cute ones?)

Seriously though, glad everyone's okay, though what with the collaspe and now smoke inhalation, you should probably be taking things easy.

Gonna go for my play around the bathroom soon...dunno why I call it that, there's no bath  I miss my bath....

Blimey Pigpen you lot don't do things by halfs! Glad you are all ok and hope you get a new cooker PDQ.

Emily good luck with the move, our neighbours moved in on the 19th 6 years ago.

Pigpen - You really do attract a few problems don't you:eek:

On 09/01/1992 (it was a Thursday) I was shopping in Tesco's on Beverley Road when I was tanoyed, so I dragged DD2 and DS (Ashia was at school) to the desk "I'm sorry to have to tell you this Mrs Wilkinson but your house is on fire".

Suffice to say that for the previous discussion - in the event of a fire I don't give a d*m what gets burned as long as the family is fine, I was never the most sentimental of people but that day made me realise that there is nothing material that I can't live without.:D

Hope the insurance sorts things out quickly Pigpen, ours were fantastic and arranged cleaners, builders, decorators ad everything.

Lady-L, while things are put off until next year at least you don't have the prospect of Xmas in hospital though it is small consolation.

((hugs)) to Lil-me's OH, not a work experience to reilsh.

Well off to cook a meal - have been out all day but still haven't goe the Xmas pressie shopping finished.

OMG - just thought, are we in the twilight zone here? Only earlier in today's thread, people were talking about what they'd save in a fire and - one of us has had a fire!:eek:

Maybe we should all start talking about what we'd buy if we won the lottery - the premium bonds etc. etc. :rotfl:

    Hiya everyone
    I'm back!!!
I feel very tired and a little bit sore but apart from that I feel totally fab. I keep falling asleep when I'm talking to people but it's a lovely, totally knackered, curl up on the sofa and sleep kind of tired. I'm definitely in the 'why didn't I do this before camp!'

Hope you're all well and hugs to all xx
