I'm not counting until I decorate Narnia, then I might 'fess up! :rotfl:

LL - glad you have a date to plan for and at least they seem confident that it's benign, which is good news.

Emily - make sure Santa has your new address!

Pigpen - it never rains, but it pours in your house. Glad you're all OK, and as for the little witch, can I make an effigy and stick pins in it to help? Please? :p

Justamum - I don't understand the reference to cancelling the TV licence because the signals going off? Is it an IOM thing?[/quote]

The analogue signal is being switched off all round the country in stages, and we happen to be in phase 1 (well almost - Whitehaven lost their analogue signal earlier this year). So anybody who hasn't gone digital by then will not be able to watch telly. I think the final switch off is sometime in 2011, but don't quote me on that!

OMG pigpen, what did you do in a past life?
  • hi
i'm going to be no help whatsoever but I just wanted to say that i have just found this board and i'm going to be here a lot more often to make sure my house gets and stays clean and tidy! I've been on maternity leave with my little boy for 5 months and admit that things haven't been as easy as i thought they would be. My grand plans for getting up and out with the baby every day doing exercise and also having a spotless house with tea on the table for my OH never happened and i'm back at work in 4 weeks. So if it's ok i'm going to join you in getting on top of the clean and tidy house plan before the good intentions of New Years Eve!
    Debts all paid!!!:j
