Ive just vacummed right through. Plan to put deccys up and wrap more presents.

Off to catch up on thread.
  • Hi all,

Hope you are all well, hugs to those with sniffles and a cold, hope they clear up before Christmas...
Thanks to Toots for updating me - you're a love :)

Pigpen - I hope you are all OK after your Kitchen fire - will it be OK for Christmas? Hugs to you honey, that's the last thing you need right now...

Lil_Me - so sorry to hear about Megan - I hope you are all OK, hugs to you and yours x

Emily - Congratulations on the move, you must be very stressed right now, but hopefully you will be all sorted for Christmas and can start the year off well in your new home - just move in, sit down and relax - most of the unpacking can wait till after Christmas....

Love and hugs to all for Christmas, probably won't get a chance to get back on again before the big day so hope you all have a fantastic Christmas - just kick back and let everyone else do the washing and clearing up for you - you've done enough this year!!!!!

    Best Wishes x

Emily - good luck with the move and Happy Christmas if you don't regain connection. I hope you are very happy in your knew home.

Serena I'm glad your mum had a nice birthday. I feel Christmas begins when I go to the carols at school on the last morning of term.

Need to do the veg next - tiring quickly today.

Thanks Rach - if it's still dodgy tomorrow i'll get DH to take a piccie. Stop reading now if you're squeamish!!! TBH it looks a bit better since I took the DNs dressing off (her dressing was sticky all over including on my wound and kept pulling at it so it was opening up ). I've left it to air all day and it's crusting up nicely. Sorry, that's probably too much information!!!:rotfl:

DH has put up the outside lights and got the last few presents I needed. He's making a curry with DD as I type. Sister and niece popped over to see me earlier. It was lovely to chill out and chat with her - that's what i've missed most about her living abroad. DS is on computer and keeps asking if he can do anything for me. Bless them all.

I've not had a pain killer this afternoon so i'm contemplating having a medicinal glass of red. Just to improve me blood you understand.

Dusty - I have done the updates. Might get DH to install firefox later. I want to move some money around some accounts to keep everything in order so will wait until he's done that.

    Speak soon xx

Flower - hope you have a great one too!!!
Sexymouse - I just love that you're cats buy for each other. My husband has surprised me by buying presents for the animals today because I can't. Most surprising xx
  • serena - glad that your Mum smiled she must be feeling better thank goodness - i am sure she enjoyed your visit and her birthday.

WoW what a lot of industrious flyladies you have been today - I wonder why we cant manage this all year round:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

you lot have been putting me to shame - I had great intentions and they havent really materialised ....yet!

I made a huge pot of soup using up all the leftover veg
I managed to put up my charity shop bargain tree....its a bit bigger than i thought it would be!!!!:rotfl: but I have it partly decorated and its looking nice - I am not very good at these things!!!
have a beautiful garland along the window sill which was all cleaned before I put it there - its got lights through it and looks nice lit up. there is another one to go on my mantlepiec - they were cast offs from toxic who got them from gleneagles hotel! I need to get something for the top of the tree:rolleyes:

I have also done all my washing 3 loads which included my bedding and throws and its all been outside and blown dry!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Soappie - thanks for mentioning mags - every year I get out old copies of country living and homes and gardens from when I used to subscribe and look at the christmasey ones - they are as relevant now as when published you just can't purchase any of the stuff in them so very moneysaving..

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Guess what - the magazine I have just read is all about ...... Family History! Only magazines I buy!

Sister just left and boys are watching cartoons, DD on xbox and hubby sleeping on the sofa. Haven't had a chance to do much flying but play on getting a right bit done tonight.

    Things that need doing
    Get dishes washed
    Change over wm again
Sort what clothes is needed for tomorrow
    Put the veg soup on
    Get kids to bed
    Brush kitchen floor
    Hoover livingroom and hall

Once i've that done i'll add more.....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
